The variety on the menu is great there’s something for every mood, whether you’re into fruity teas or creamy milk-based drinks. Last time I got their strawberry matcha latte, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had.“

“I went to Tapioca Express in Alhambra on Monday the 15th around noon. I ordered a Thai Tea, which is personally my favorite! I usually order Thai Tea ever where I go because I can't get enough. Haha, The two people that were helping me were Jo and Steve or Steven, I didn't quite hear the other employee name but it's somewhere along those lines. They were super nice! Right when I walked in, I was greeted with "Welcome to Tapioca Express!" It made me feel very welcomed, which is a feeling everybody should feel when they walk into a store. Since I always order Thai Tea, I just wanted to take a look at the menu and see what other options they had. They offered me other drinks but I had to stay with my usual. I liked how they were so patient with me. The Thai Tea tasted amazing! The sugar was just perfect! I will be coming back! Thank you for being patient and having a great customer service!“

“Me and my girlfriend just visited the store today on New Years to grab some tea for gifting and to taste, and the service was amazing.

The attendant was incredibly kind and she took out a lot of time to help us decide which teas would be best for our tastes and to sit down to brew and drink some tea with us. She taught us a lot about the plantation that the tea comes from, and the tea itself smelled delicious and was super fragrant. We sampled the green oolong and I took home dragonwell, silver needle, and emerald green teas.

It is very rare these days to walk into a store and meet a worker that has so much passion for tea. If you’re just walking around the store to visit, ask around for some help, I’m sure you’ll find something for yourself. There were also very pretty tea cakes, but I personally don’t drink a lot of pu-erh. I highly recommend this store if you’re visiting the area and want to take home some traditional teas.“

“My favorite milk tea/boba place in the Bay Area. The prices of their drinks haven't risen like other chains, their tea is of high quality, and the staff make drinks in the fastest time.While there isn't much seating room inside, one can quickly order and grab and go. The staff speak Mandarin, Cantonese, and English and one can either name the drinks or provide a number, and they incredibly know which number matches each drink.My favorite drink here is the Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea with pearls; however, any milk teas from here taste delicious!“

“We came at night and glad it’s still open. Drinks were fresh made but I would say if they added a little more cream/cheese, they would tasted much better. If you tried Choo tea, you probably will understand how the creama and ube ratio works, since the price is already more than &10.“

“First time trying a drink at this location. I ordered the Mango Yogurt Smoothie w/ Mango Kanten J and it was yummy. The gentleman making the drinks was friendly and nice. I asked for the Felix’s cup sleeve and he told me “You have to buy Felix’s pick drinks to get it but I will give you one. Don’t tell anyone.” I’d come back again to try other drinks!“
