It’s still a little sweet and a little effervescence. Love me a 7% ABV with a seltzer! Very cozy fun vibes. Comfortable bar seating as well as comfortable booth seating. Nice little outdoor patio and then an area to play games at your hearts content! Pool table inside ping-pong, table, and foosball table outside. “Plenty of good IPAs, draft, and domestic beers. The Backyard Burger was wonderful, definitely coming back just for that. Having Delirium Tremens in their beer stock was amazing, hadn't seen many bars with this many good options in a while. A good place for a quiet and private date, but with good walking distance to Echo Park and local bars and venues.“

“I saw this bar on my home from work one day. The name got my attention. I stopped in looking for a nice spot close to work that I could tell my coworkers about and I found it. Nick was the first person that I spoke to. He was very helpful. I later met Sydney and she was as accommodating as Nick. Very nice staff.

The food was delicious. The atmosphere was spot on for a after work hangout.“

“Everyone at Lawless is a pleasure to work with. We host a weekly game night on Mondays and they always have the best food trucks and excellent brews (seasonal and standards). You can’t beat the laid back atmosphere. DOGS are allowed which makes it an even cooler place to just come hang out, meet friends, play games, or even do work. We love LAWLESS!“

Disregard the previous review that was freaking out about the chairs. It happened right in front of us and the person was just there to look at their phone, not watch the game, not engage with the other patrons, nothing. It came off as entitled and sad. “My friend and I came to DTLA Ramen late Monday afternoon in order to wait out the traffic and have an early dinner, and lucky for us, we got in on the last hour of Happy Hour (weekdays 3pm-6pm), so we got $2 off our Ramen and $1 off our salted Edamame.

The Edamame was pretty good, although not too out of the ordinary even with the salt.

Our Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen, however, was savory, albeit not that spicy even though my friend got the Spicy (she rated it 4/10 in spiciness) ) and I got the Extra Spicy (6/10 in spiciness). So if you love it even hotter, don't be afraid to ask for even more heat.

The Chashu pork slices were nicely thick and charred, soaking up the broth while maintaining just enough crispiness. Both the broth and the noodle were also thick and delicious, giving you plenty of flavor with every slurp.

If there was something I felt lacking, it would be to have a bit more flair to the taste, since everything is a little one note and not a lot of depth and texture in the flavor. But that's OK, it was tasty as it was so we still ended up satisfied!“

“This is easily one of my favorite places to eat near UCLA! I ordered the beef and lamb gyro Bowl, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly, the vegetables were crisp, and the flavors blended so well together. Don’t skip the fresh fries—they’re hot, crispy, and addictive. Their new Pistachio cream frozen yogurt is also a refreshing treat after the meal.

What really stands out is the excellent service. Maribel provides some of the best customer service I’ve experienced. She’s friendly, professional, and always makes sure guests are taken care of. We took advantage of their awesome happy hour deals and got the nachos (yummy real pepper jack cheese… not fake gooey queso) and the guac. We also got spicy margaritas for $10 each! They were so good. My friend and I split the chicken enchiladas and each got two shrimp tacos which was a great serving for us. The chicken enchilada was a big portion and so good with the green salsa. The shrimp on the tacos was big and tasted fresh :) we will definitely be back!
