Had a great experience at Cletus’ Chicken Shack at Universal Studios California! We ended up there because I have a very picky kid who pretty much only wants chicken, and it honestly exceeded expectations. The chicken was high quality — crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. I did not hate it, but the food was cheaply made and heavily, heavily overpriced. It satisfied my cravings for something crispy and savory, but I would’ve got better portions and better quality anywhere else if I weren’t stuck inside the park. There’s probably better restaurants within the park, too. But I still don’t totally regret my choice. Overall, 3/5.
I'm from the south and I say this i some good fried chicken. I got fried chicken with bone in that came with mashed potatoes and gravy. Price is high because it's inside Universal Studios Park. Simpson videos playing the whole time. Kids loved it. They got chicken tenders. Kids love the chicken tenders.
