“Just had my 3rd dining experience this morning and all 3 breakfast meals have been fantastic! As a person on the carnivore diet, I find it refreshing I can order an all protein meal and be completely satiated without paying an arm and a leg. Eggs were scrambled perfectly and the bacon was delicious. And who could have thought a simple burger patty could taste so good. Must be a magic griddle! Highly recommend! Oh, and service is amazing. “The restaurant feels almost like a hole in the wall. The atmosphere feels very authentic, and very peaceful. The staff are amazing, and have always been so polite to my family and I. I have seen staff members immediately go to hold the door open for those who use canes or wheelchairs. Over the times I’ve been there, I had many of their items, and all of them are great. My favorite item is the Gnocchi with Gorgonzola. Overall, this restaurant is absolutely an underrated gem, and I’d completely recommend it.“

“It is such a beautiful little place. It has a cozy atmosphere. The food was fabulous. We had a party of 13. We had a wide range of delicious food. Lamb ..Chicken Filet Mignon.. Mussels .. Prawns... “We made our first visit to Ristorante Due Rose last evening (6/2/2023)--what a amazing dinner we had! I had the Linguine Tutto Mare (thin flat pasta with clams, squid, prawns, scallops and fish, seasoned with tomatoes, crushed red pepper, garlic and white wine.). I think the best Italian dish I have ever had (and I have been to Italy). The pasta was cooked to perfection--none of the flavorless stuff you might find elsewhere, and the sauce was out of this world. My husband had the Grigliata di Mare (Grilled scallops, prawns, calamari, parsley, lemon sauce, roasted potatoes and arugula salad) and also raved about it. Great service and reasonable prices. 💞We will definitely be back!“

“I made a reservation online but the host didnt find it so she asked us to have a seat and wait. 20 mins go by and we're ignored so I asked if the wait was much longer, or if I could just order to go. I'm told they dont offer food Togo and then I'm asked for proof of my reservation. (Why didn't you ask me 20 mins ago??) Another 15 mins go by, we finally get lead to the back for a table and the noise was overwhelming!! It's like a huge warehouse and everyone is yelling to be heard. The food okay, not memorable. Great to have a restaurant onsite but driving into town would have been a better choice.“

No skimping with the toppings and was exactly as pictured on the website, so no false advertising. Sauce was just right. Enjoyed the classic crust, too, but may try the thin crust text time.“

“Best kept secret of El Sobrante: El Chalan, Peruvian and Italian restaurant, offers a family atmosphere with great food at a good price. Warm bread and butter is served from the beginning. Their roast 1/2 chicken and whole fried trout, with home style french fries are very popular. Their sea food dishes, especially the seafood soups are delicious. The Italian food is also excellent. Butter nut squash raviolis, gnocchi, and spaghetti are cooked perfectly. Kids love this place.“
