“Getting to eat here is always a special treat. Our go to is the rib sandwich with Mac and cheese. The food is wonderful. So next time you’re stuck in that horrible traffic jam on the 15. Just hop off at the Pala exit and go past the truck stop. You won’t regret it. That traffic is crazy!“

“Looking from the outside it looked the typical hole-in-the-wall, but inside it was clean and pleasant. Tables weren't all squished together, which I appreciated. The BBQ may not be what people think of traditionally as BBQ. The BBQ sauce is served separately. We had the meat plates with 2 sides. I ate beef brisket with salad and baked beans, my friend ate the pulled pork with potato salad and French fries. We were both happy with our selections. Portions were nice sized and meal came with a bun for those that want bread or want their meat and BBQ sauce in bread. My beef brisket was tender. My salad greens wasn't fancy, but it was fresh. I would say though I thought the beans and potato salad were a bit on the sweet side, but that's a matter of taste, my friend liked them. I tasted a bit of his potato salad, it tasted like sweet pickle juice had been added. French fries were hot and fresh. We ate in, it only took about 10 minutes or so for the food to be served. The menu is a bit limited, but it's adequate, no chicken available. I'd eat here again, more beef brisket for me please! Sorry, I didn't think to take a picture of the food.“

“We stumbled upon the Swiss Grill at the Vista Farmer's Market and it was just amazing! I ordered a whole chicken, it looked so good just rolling in front of my eyes. The meat is very tender and juicy, the skin is of a crispy golden brown - yum! I am actually from Switzerland myself and let me tell you this food made me feel right at home. The potatoes were both soft and crispy with the perfect amount of seasoning. I also had a pleasant chat with the owner Daniel who lived a few miles from my hometown - so we ended up talking about stories from back home!“

“If you’re looking for good, delicious close to Hawaii LnL flavors, go to this location. This is the best one in North county SD. This one is located inside San Marcos Walmart. The service is awesome. They serve with Aloha, even the servings is Aloha size(iykyk) This location has the GARLIC CHICKEN😋 on their menu, the other ones don’t. If you want a delicious (ono), juicy Teriyaki Cheeseburger😋 go to this LnL location. We take the drive to this location because of how good the food is, every time. Everything we’ve had here has been delicious. They are consistent when it comes to their food flavors and great service.“

I came with my son we’d gone to another bbq place but felt ignored and lost even when it was early here we were attended to got to choose more meats at a time than the other place which allowed us to eat as we pleased. The very polite young lady serving our table was Amazing. Overall awesome experience and great food!“
