“i was in need of a tres lèches cake and because this place had such good reviews on it i decided to try it out. they don’t let you place pre orders over the phone and require you to come in. i thought that was a little frustrating but then i realized it’s because when you pre order they require you to either pay half of it or pay in full right away.

i ordered the cake for the next day and they were able to do it which was extremely helpful. the cake was very delicious so i can totally see why people like it so much. i paid about 55 for an 8-inch round tres leches cake

the only downside (which i had seen in other reviews) is in the 30 minutes it took for me to get home from the bakery, the cake had leaked a lot of milk and leaked onto my car seat. later in the day, when we were taking the cake out of the box to put on a a plate, the cake had shifted a little, messing up the frosting and the spilled milk had completely soaked the box making it extremely difficult to get the cake out. the little cardboard piece the cake sits on was soaked so trying to separate that piece with the cardboard box too was very hard. thankfully, this wasn’t a fancy super intricate cake so i wasn’t that frustrated but i can totally understand why this factor is a huge negative for people“

Ivory's made it super easy to make sure all dietary needs were covered, and the cupcakes were gorgeous and delicious. Ivory even helped me get them to my car which was much appreciated! “My Mother’s Day (party day) order included 5 dozen mini cupcakes, 2 cakes, and some whoopie pies! I got home and realized my order was missing a dozen red velvet cupcakes. I called the studio city location for a refund on those since I had no time to go back to the bakery before the party (please open a location in Santa Clarita @susiesarich 😂). Instead, they same day delivered my cupcakes PLUS sent additional cookies and Mother’s Day treats for no additional cost to me😭❤️ I was SO amazed by the gracious customer service. “Walking distance from my place in Beverly Grove L.A. and boy am I glad. First found them in Manhattan and was delighted when they opened here. Good old chocolate cake does it for me, tho sometimes I swing vanilla, & the BF loves the Banana Pudding. Gotta say I'm not a fan of their new prepackaged cake slices. I prefer seeing it sliced from the whole cake right before my very eyes the way Mom did it and God intended. The way they have slices now, in stacks of plastic boxes, makes it seem more like you're getting them from a vending machine than an old-time bakery. I guess it makes transactions quicker, but I hope they reconsider.“

“This is a mocha filled cake. I brought these fresh flowers 1 day before the event. Although, my daughter’s instructions was to include red melted chocolate on this rustic/vintage themed cake but they did NOT. I can see why, it would have taken away from the theme. they have such a great eye in designing and captivating one’s imagination . They delivered the cake on time and the extra flowers were also returned. Definitely, recommend to friends and families!“

“Julian delivered outstanding customer service during an incredibly busy rush at Cold Stone. Despite a full establishment and a steady stream of customers continuing to come in, he remained completely focused on giving every single person an excellent experience. He worked quickly without ever rushing, making sure each order was done right the first time.

Even with a long line, Julian took his time at the register to ensure accuracy, double-checking orders and even asking if we had a punch card to use, something that could easily be overlooked when working solo under pressure. His professionalism, attention to detail, and calm demeanor stood out and made the experience enjoyable for everyone waiting.

I honestly couldn’t help but feel for him being on his own-he definitely could have used some support but he handled it all with efficiency and a positive attitude.

Boss man, take note and recognize this hardworking employee; dedicated workers like Julian are hard to come by these days.

“The cakes are amazing, perfect for satisfying a sweet tooth, but they don’t carry forks!! To fully satisfy my craving, it must be eaten right after you buy it, rather than at home. To complete the ritual of eating a bundt cake, please provide forks!“

“This place feels like I walked into a Paris bakery. The chefs are outstanding at their craft. Creating so many yummy candies and cakes as well as croissants with ham and cheese and so much more. It is a hidden gem in our la crescenta neighborhood and right by subway and electronics and beyond. Park right in front and go in and meet Armen and he will show you all the goodies.“

“The Baseline: For a desert shop the flavor of offerings must out-weigh the taste of pure sugar, there must be unique/rare offerings that drive me to go there, and the value of the desert must be balanced with the fact I probably just finished a meal.

Food: Tasty cupcakes with a slightly higher price tag. ATM them at 4AM if you need a cupcake fix. I got the Vietnamese Coffee cupcake which was good but a little too sugary. Need to try others to really make a final verdict.

Service: Great service from the employees and there is a self service ATM for cupcakes so it is 24/7 cupcakes if you need them.

Ambiance: It is a fun little shop that is straight to the point… getting a cupcake. This is a fun stop for a desert after getting a meal in the Manhattan Village.“

“I called from out of state to have a cake delivered to my parents for their anniversary. They made sure everything was handled perfectly and that the delivery went seamlessly. My parents LOVED the cake. Will absolutely be back! Couldn’t recommend them more!“

“Stopped by with my partner recently after a late lunch at Dave's and got a couple of cones with a few toppings each. The ice cream was delicious and the staff was totally friendly and up for questions, they asked if we wanted samples as well which we declined. Their ice cream ice on the pricey side, something around 8 or 9 dollars each, but it was A LOT in a big crunchy waffle cone, as I say often; you get what you pay for.

I do wish they had had pretzel pieces to mix in. Seems like an easy win.

The staff even looked all around when I came back a half hour or so later concerned I dropped my debit card.
