“Great spot to watch a game or event. The drinks are strong and the atmosphere is friendly and upbeat. Everyone is welcome here. When it's really busy, drinks and food can take some time to arrive, but their system is much better now than it used to be.
The only drawback is the food menu is really hard to navigate if you have allergies or dietary restrictions.“

“I had an event hosted with 33 taps for an employee resource group “pride happy hour” for my company, and worked with Libney & Zach as the points of contact and a server named Alex who were all so accommodating and sweet.
The food and drinks were amazing! World Cup was playing in the ackgeound sinve it’s a sports bar. I highly recommend the salmon bowl if you’re coming by yourself or the tacos and quesadillas for group gatherings.
Thank you all 💕“

“Palm & Pine is a standout high-end sports bar in Hollywood. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between upscale and welcoming, with great music and TV screens everywhere you look—ideal for game days. Their happy hour is fantastic, offering real value without sacrificing quality. It’s become one of my go-to spots for both sports and social nights. Try the 99 cent wings. Beers start at $5. For those of us on a budget, which we all are these days, this is the place to be. And say Hi to the awesome bartenders, Swords, Brianna and Joe.“
“Something that can't be explained, an atmosphere that takes you back to times when people knew how to enjoy a good drink, exceptional service, Carlitos the owner with his exceptional charisma, and simply the best place to spend time with friends. 1000% recommended! Come and enjoy something that feels like stepping back in time. Thank you for existing!“

“I sometimes go on Mondays for karaoke. There's not a lot of gluten-free food, if you need that, but they do have great salad and are more than happy to work with you. The staff is friendly and you may get to meet Ben Onyx Dowdy from Abbott Elementary (among other things) because he usually runs the karaoke.“

“Indian- Italian fusion that’s just a flavor bomb I didn’t know I needed to try. This place is a bit unassuming as it’s a restaurant connected to a Comfort Inn with a crappy parking lot. But the interior was very clean and well decorated. They had a full bar, big screen tvs all round, a very fun and hip ambiance the moment you step inside. (Something I love about dining out is the magic in the food service industry and that magic is definitely here.)
We got the Malai Rigatoni and the Green Tikka Masala Pijja. The first bite of the rigatoni blew my mind- it was so flavorful and so good. It did have a bit of heat like a medium spice, but a very enjoyable spice level. It was creamy, spicy, Smokey and filled with umami. I didn’t care too much for the green tikka pijja; it was a good pizza overall, it just was missing a note for me. I think next time I would just try some more of their pasta options.
Food was tasty and came out quickly, but the biggest show stopper of Pijja Palace was the service. Our waitress Anna Lee was such a sweetheart. She was attentive, caring, and informative. I would come back for her service alone. Not only the delicious food, but, Anna Lee’s service made my dinner experience a very memorable one.“

“La Jolla Restaurant is a great neighborhood spot that offers a welcoming atmosphere and consistently satisfying food. The setting is comfortable and relaxed, making it a nice place for both casual meals and family dining. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care, with generous portions that provide excellent value. Each dish had a comforting, homestyle quality that made the experience enjoyable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and efficient, ensuring smooth service throughout the visit. I appreciated the clean environment and the overall sense of hospitality. Everything felt well organized and dependable from start to finish. Overall, La Jolla Restaurant is a solid choice for anyone looking for good food and a friendly, no-fuss dining experience, and I would happily recommend it.“

“Rocco's is one of my favorite casual bars in Culver City. My cousin and I go here all the time after work for pizza and wine. They serve generous pours and the pizzas are relatively large pies for the price. We typically order the white pizza with the mushrooms. It's fantastic. They also have a great happy hour!!“

“I’ve never been here before so decided to come in for happy hour before we went to the Saint Felix and had a nice little visit. The interior is a little bland and it’s not very cozy but the large bar area is nice especially for socializing. Hannah served us and she was friendly and attentive. I ordered a skinny margarita and she made it very well. Nice and skinny how I like it! My second drink, I ordered a glass of the champagne from the happy hour menu and I enjoyed it because it was extra brut nice and dry, but served in a tiny tiny glass. We had an order of the jalapeño cheese sticks and they were pretty darn good but really lacked presentation. Good happy hour prices. Might be back to try some more of their food. Love the happy hour!“

“Great atmosphere. Great service!“
“Today for lunch one of my 2 coworkers took us here, he knows the spot and so some guys. I was super surprised when I got in, I was really thinking he is going to take us to have a beer, the place is basically a bar, but what I didn't really know was that they have food . My coworkers actually order food for us, I didn't even know when he ordered or what he ordered because I didn't see any menu. The surprise came pretty fast, which was a very nice plate with rice, meat and some vegetables, honestly food was super good , I would definitely go back again and highly recommend this place. The best part is the service, the girl (Vivi) whom was taking care of us is super nice, friendly and knows how to treat people , I noticed that she treats everyone the same way.“

“Hidden gem type of spot that reminds you why local food joints still matter. What started as a stop for a chicken burger quickly turned into one of the more memorable comfort food experiences I’ve had in Hollywood.
The balance between a classic burger spot and a full Korean kitchen is executed incredibly well. You can tell this isn’t a place trying to force two concepts together. Everything on the menu feels intentional and well thought out. The chicken was perfectly cooked with great texture and flavor, while the Korean dishes carried that authentic homemade quality that’s hard to fake.
The atmosphere has that hometown neighborhood feel where the staff genuinely make you feel welcomed the second you walk in. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and everyone behind the counter seemed to actually care about the experience they were providing.
Another standout was the drink selection. Plenty of beers on tap along with a solid variety of drinks that pair perfectly with the food whether you’re stopping in casually or hanging out for a while.
What impressed me most was the consistency across the board. A lot of places do one thing well and everything else feels secondary. Here, the food, service, atmosphere, and menu variety all carried equal weight.
If you’re anywhere near Hollywood and want something that feels both elevated and genuinely local, this spot is absolutely worth the visit.“
“Q's Billiard Club and Restaurant is easily one of my favorite spots in Los Angeles to kick back with friends after a long week. As a Local Guide, I've seen my fair share of sports bars, but the lively atmosphere here really stands out. With plenty of well-maintained pool tables and screens everywhere, it’s the perfect place to grab some drinks, enjoy some classic pub fare, and catch a game. The service is surprisingly fast and friendly, even on busy weekend nights when the place gets packed. Whether you're a serious pool player or just looking for a laid-back night out in Los Angeles, this place is a genuinely solid choice. I highly recommend getting there a bit early if you want to secure a table without a wait!“

“Please give George - who I renamed GMoney - a raise! In all seriousness, he made me (a California newbie) feel so welcome and happy while I was out here visiting my daughter... beyond words. He was amazing and nothing like the East Coast bartenders I’ve been used to! A wonderful night was had because of him!“

“UBG is the best place for great food and drinks and the best music scene around town. The owner Greg and the entire staff are awesome. It is homey but also Hollywood flavor! So many great events here. Any day of the week you can be sure to find something cool happening here. My band Bonnie Brae has made it a home away from home and just LIVE it here. So much great live music and variety! Comedy-jams-original music-you name it it all happens here.“

“This place really has its own atmosphere. The overall vibe is great, the alcohol selection is solid, and the bartenders are friendly and welcoming. What I liked most is that the place feels relaxed and comfortable. It does not have that aggressive energy some bars have, and it definitely does not feel like the kind of place where people are looking for trouble. The atmosphere inside feels warm and friendly.
The main downside for me was the music. It would be much better if the DJ played something that matched the actual mood of the place. When there are only two or three tables occupied, the music is still blasting as if the place is packed and everyone is waiting for a huge drop. That feels a bit out of sync with the otherwise chill and enjoyable atmosphere.
Overall, it is a nice place with a lot going for it, but the music choice and volume could really make the experience much better.“
