“It was great to eat with family!!I chose All U Can, and the meat quality was better than I expected. In particular, the brisket and marinated ribs were really good. The staff were friendly and I enjoyed my meal to the fullest!!The valet parking fee was $10, which was too expensive, so I used street parking nearby.“
“After eating here for the first time, I told my brother (who I ate with) this is definitely the spot to bring the parents. A couple months later, we brought mom and dad. Enough said. Service and quality of food were really good. Highlights include marinated prime short rib, aged prime tenderloin, steamed egg, and Korean chimichurri sauce.“
“Wow! The best marinated pork ribs! Come on down to Jin Ju. It isn't an all you can eat spot, but you can't beat the quality. My friend and I decided to try the prime beef and the marinated pork ribs (which is their speciality). Both meats were very delicious. They pretty much cook your food for you. The beef was cut into nice cubes. They were cooked at a perfect medium rare. The prok ribs were also cut into pieces, as well. There was a good selection of 10 types of banchan: fishcake (eomuk bokkeum), sesame broccoli, kimchi, potato salad, cucumber kimchi (sigeumchi-namul), stir-fried glass noodles (japchae), korean spinach, pickled onions, bean sprouts (kongnamul), pancake (yachaejeon), and radish kimchi (kkakdugi) . And honestly, this spot has one of the better quality banchan sides. The japchae had so much flavor, and the potato salad was also good. I appreciated that they offered the pickled onions, which goes really well with the marinated pork. My friend was also excited that they had korean spinach, which most places don't have at all. We also ordered the red pepper paste soup. It was so good! Rick and full of flavor. There's enough seating for 2-6 people to each table. It's not too big of a spot, so if you're trying to get away from the long lined spots - this is the spot to be. Service is quick and friendly. There is free parking in the lot if you're lucky. If not, you can find free street parking.“
“I found this Korean BBQ place when last Wednesday. It was rain so not too many people. We chose the $57.00/ per person all you can eat. Meat was high quality, service was great, they helped us all the time. Especially, the Tofu Soup was so delicious even better most Tofu restaurants. Lol.If you will be LA Downtown, give it a try.“
“Food was great! The service was excellent! They take reservations on weekends which is rare in Ktown I think. We were a pretty big party, but they were so nice from the beginning. I’m so glad that I found this place! Thank you soooo much!! See you again!“
“The service was very fast, as soon as we entered kimchi and other side dishes were offered immediately! Servers were kind and attentive as well as the owner of this location. Meat was well portioned, side dishes were immaculate and the atmosphere felt laid back and cool. Would definitely recommend.“
“Ohana BBQ is my comfort Hawaiian food spot on Ventura Blvd. They stand out among the others because it's Hawaiian dishes with Korean BBQ. Every time my wife and I go , the gentleman who takes the phone orders is also the one ringing us up and he's so pleasant each time. My favorite item on the menu is the japchae with short rib. They're also very generous with the teriyaki and hot sauce which is a plus. Also the wall of celebrities who've dined there is such a great touch!“
“Very clean place and the food was good. They serve most of their meat frozen but still has good flavor. since there was not alot of people there we did not wait long in between meat orders. They provide little sides like bean sprouts, kimchi....etc and a complimentary house soup and salad before you start digging into their meatsParking: About 10 to 15 stalls, very small limited parking lotWheelchair accessibility: Yes handicap parking and no stairs“
“Me and my friends went to this place on last Friday evening, 3/15. It was so busy although, our server Danny was very attentive and keep checked if we need any other stuffs. Meats were kind of frozen but not too bad, they did a little birthday song as well which was cute haha. Overall it was awesome, definitely coming back later!“
“So for it being my first time there it was all delicious and waitress was perfect, the service was amazing overall, I would give it a 5 stars but because we had a horrible bill complication. Just if you pay cash make sure you count the money together that you give to your waitress there on the spot before she walks away. Because today we over paid $100 hundred dollars. My bill was $513.27 and ended up paying $613.27 A total for a party of 10 We didn't not get a refund We still paid for parking because parking is 15 dollars. Mike the manger said we can come back and maybe redeem the lost $100. But not sure if I even want to!“
“5/5!! This place was not only my first kbbq place ever but has been the most consistent for me for about a decade now. The vibe, the food, atmosphere and service are all top notch. The waiters are on top of everything and the service is amazing. Not to mention their unique taste to the food. This is to me my personal favorite kbbq place in all of LA and I just feel so safe and secure in my experience Everytime I come eat here! Plus the recent interior Castle theming along with knights is so cool!!!“
“Surprised this place isn't full all the time! Came around 3pm and it was empty!! Service was obviously great, the server was also the cook and she gave a very motherly vibe. I love places like this because it feels homey even though it's a restaurant. She was very sweet. The food was also very delicious. We got the pork ribs and also the gamjatang, both were super flavorful and delicious. It's almost like a hole in the wall. But this place is super great. I would 100% recommend!!!“
“Family’s (Korean) consensus rating was five stars ✨! First off the service was great. We were there early and owner sat us down and even told us to start eating if we wanted to. Note, they have special pricing starting at 7:30pm, but that wasn’t an issue. Not used to that, especially at AYCE restaurant. They also came by and cooked some of the meats for us and changed grills often. Again, not used to that from AYCE.Second was the quality of the meat. The Kalbi was tasty and fresh. The size of the shrimp too! There really wasn’t a bad dish we tried and for $35pp after 7:30pm, we thought it was a really great deal.Place is a bit worn, but we weren’t there for the decor. We just wanted a variety of good Korean dishes and were not disappointed!“
“Decently priced AYCE kbbq places. I came here for lunch. It was so much food and everything was so good! They have a self serve section of all the sides.I loved how they played music by Norcal artists here. Our server was very efficient and got everything out to our table quickly.I didn't have any issue with parking.“
“I always come here for a delicious meal. However, whenever I come here recently, I have additional requests or questions, and when I ask them, a particular server often shows signs of being a bit uncomfortable. Even if it tastes good, I don't think it will be good. Mubongri is the best pork belly restaurant in town, so I bring customers... but every time I come, I feel uncomfortable because of that person... so I think I'll be reluctant to come because of the unfriendly service. As expected, the kkakdugi fried rice and noodles are delicious. Service is separate..“
“We've been here a total of three times. The first time we went there, the service and food was amazing. The second time, it was okay. This last time, the food was not that great. The service staff was marvelous, the exhaust fans needed to be repaired, but the quality of food needs some improvement.“
“Great KBBQ spot with lots of good quality meats. The only gripe I do have is the parking lot is a bit small, especially when you try to come on a friday or Saturday. It shares its lot with a few other businesses, so it is what it is. Servers are always great & the atmosphere is lively. Definitely a good spot just to grab some drinks as well.“
“I was craving KBBQ, and came to try Gangnam Station in Koreatown! We were seated immediately during dinner time on a Thursday night!I genuinely was shocked at the price to quality because it was so good for only $29.99 (Menu A). They offered a wide selection of premium meat cuts PLUS their self-serve meat and side dish bar! I loved the complimentary tofu soup too!The servers were very attentive to us and changed the pan frequently and always provided us top service. The inside ambiance was so nice as I was able to see the city/street view! They offer parking validation with 2 hours free underground parking!Save this spot for your next meal?Parking: 2 Hour Free Parking Validation“
“It was the best Korean barbecue experience. Everything was perfect, especially the grilled beef tongue melted in my mouth. The servers were very friendly and the service was very good. The interior is so clean and modern that it makes you want to come back anytime.“
“If I could give 10 stars I would. This place is only has impeccable service, but if you're like me, a libra, and hate having to choose between sushi and Korean barbecue and this is the spot. I went on a cute date night with hubby and baby, we each had different favorites. But overall this is definitely our go-to spot. Hubby is always craving sushi, it's his favorite. But my favorite is Korean barbecue and I always feel bad having to choose just one or the other. I think having sushi and Korean barbecue and one place is a genius idea. And of course, it also helps that the food is super good and fairly priced..“
“It's not a big place, but the waitresses are nice enough and people know English and are patient enough. Good amount of traditional small dishes are given to you and kimchi is decent (although the taste can vary depending on how long they were allowed to ferment). The meat is good compared to typical AYCE, but it's certainly more expensive.“
“Korean AYCE smoky but better than most, service was slow ( ie did not change out cooking surface until very smoky. Some orders left us waiting for the meat to arrive) but convenient, clean and while pricy (approx $50/head) selection included seafood (shrimp, salmon, squid)“
“There's something about using English on a menu that makes me initially feel like the restaurant isn't authentic and I will admit that when they advertise having confit, ribeye, NY steak, etc. I question the quality of it all. Still, I went with friends because the pricing was way better with the meat assortment than others in the area and I will say it did not disappoint! On a Thursday evening at 6pm, the restaurant only had 2 parties before us and I was pleasantly surprised at not having to wait.We ordered menu B for $34.99 as of writing this review and boy did we get full really quickly! We ordered the ribeye to start and if you read the fine print you can only order 1 steak per 2 people. You can order 4 meats at a time so we got kalbi, bulgogi, and brisket as well. The bulgogi was very lightly marinated but still packed a ton of flavor and of course the brisket and kalbi were delicious.I was surprised that the ribeye and New York steaks came out cooked at medium rare temperature, but I like that it saved us so much time from having to cook it ourselves as it is a 90 minute time limit.I don't like wasting food so I appreciated that the banchan was brought out upon request. The japchae, fish cakes, cucumber, and steamed egg were great. For drinks, we ordered yogurt soju and kloud beer. Everything was priced as you'd expect in a restaurant, which is of course at a higher mark up. I do hope in the future they can consider adding Beatboxes because they're inexpensive and fun to drink. The service was great. I was so full that I never really needed to call on the server for anything. One thing I wish they would do was play Korean music. It just adds a bit more authenticity to it than playing top 40 pop music. Other than that, though, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and look forward to returning for menu A in the future.(1/50--2024)“
