“Way back in the day, we used to go to The Cat when it was on Sunset, and we were sad to hear they closed. So, fast forward to years later, we were happy to see they reopened, and we finally made it down to enjoy. The atmosphere is great, the food and drinks are delicious and the service was perfect. Fish & Chips, Apple Butter Bee's Knees and Sticky Toffee pudding was heaven! Pictured is the Beef Wellington which my husband thoroughly enjoyed.“
“The staff are all friendly beer freaks and they’re excited to point you towards the stuff they like. Hyper-curated taps and a massive can selection that changes constantly. Add in the fact that dogs are welcome and you have the perfect beer bar. No food, just trucks, but I’m giving the food five stars out of runaway enthusiasm.Parking: Parking lot is off the alley behind the bank next door, but there’s lots of it.“
“If you have kids and want to find a place to eat and have entertainment for them, this place is perfect. We've taken our kid a few times and she's always entertained with all the lights and music and the food options for her. I've also gone for date nights and sat at the bar which is a great experience.Parking: Quite a number of spots right in front and across the street.Kid-friendliness: I cannot stress how perfect this place is to take kids.“
“Saw a regular get kicked out today for making a woman feel uncomfortable and refusing to apologize when the Bartender asked him to and after the woman informed the regular that he made her feel uncomfortable (he touched her inappropriately, I saw it, a gracious apology was warranted). Good people work at this bar, I’ll be back.“
“Pool here was such an event, so fun. Micheal the bar tender and manager, was amazing, so helpful and incredibly nice! However, the music was odd, it was good music but I couldn't make any requests or recommendations, anything about the music was a non negotiable, which was Strange in my opinion. Other than that, it was very fun. A lot of drink options.“
“Plenty of outdoor patio seating, great German beer selection and an abundance of amazing food options. The Jaeger Schnitzel was outstanding with the wild mushroom gravy stealing the show. Loved the potato salad and sour kraut too. Not to be ignored, the Kaiser Schnitzel with the sun dried tomato cream sauce is a great option too. I would be remiss if I didn't sing the praises of the exotic meat sausage sampler plate...AMAZING!!!“
“The service was great and I had to try the scratch Margarita and the bel tacos, all was very yummy ??. I use a walker and I found the ramp, sorta steep but the workers were very nice and helped me get in and out. Everything for eating out has gotten very expensive so I don't go but once and maybe twice a month. Ever since they raised minimum wage and then COVID 19. Didn't take any pictures. I sat were I was watching people. I'm trying to get used to going be myself ?.“
“Well, I went for St Patrick's day 2023, and it was a blast. It was a $10 cover fee, not horrible for a popular holiday. No food was served, just drinks. My boyfriend and I were treated with kindness and respect by the staff and security. They have multiple bathrooms, so there wasn't a crazy line for one. It was awesome that they had a live band play popular Irish rock songs. The band even gave me a shirt! I definitely would return to try the food and see the venue on a not so wild time ???drink responsibly??“
“Karaoke bar on Saturday nights. Valley mature crowd, mixed nationalities diverse age range. The environment and atmosphere is better than most reseda area bars, it’s still not a hip or upscale vibe. It’s great for karaoke since there’s at least 3 screens in different directions to read when singing. Also the Mike is a good volume and filtered enough with the background vocals that everyone sounds decent enough to enjoy. Didn’t have any good but didn’t want to down rate for something I didn’t try. My drink only cost $7 which was oddly cheap. I didn’t see a Parking lot so parked on the street. Waiters were ok. Overall I give it a 4 star,“
“We came here about 10 years ago and loved it. Passing through the area again, we decided to see if the magic was still there. It did not disappoint. Bekah, our server, was exceptional. I had had the Paso tri-tip sandwich and it was, without hesitation, the most tender, perfectly cooked tri-tip sandwich I've ever had and the fries were on point. See attached photo of my plate. My wife's birria tacos were also delicious. The cocktails were very good, but could use a touch more balance. All in all, I can't wait to pass through the area again and dine here again.“
“Excellent hotel - location, access, staff! It was a wonderful, albeit short stay. The location was very good for us to access a few places of interest. Great parking. Great staff. Breakfast was excellent. Thank you! We hope to be back, especially during the Canadian winter season!!“
“Love this little hole in the wall, literally. It is unknown to most regular day guests. It is located next to the Three Broomsticks. This is a bar that serves drinks. You can even get spiked Butterbear. Drinks are around 15 to 18 dollars. Pretty standard. The line here is usually shorter for Butterbear. Service is quick. Seating is limited, but we can always find a seat.“
“It's a small dolphins bar. Glad we came, My boyfriend is a huge dolphins and heat fan. Everyone who came cheered on the dolphins and they won the game. Seats were filled and packed with dolphin fans! It was great. I found one seat at the bar and the owner Tony was really nice. Got me a beer right away and my friends came we enjoyed a pizza from Lucifers from down the st and enjoyed the night.Parking: Parking is on the street. And you can find any spot nearby. It's not a far walk. Or behind the bar too..Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheel chair accessible. Wide wall ways when entering the bar“
“Best place for a taste from across the pond.I have been going to the Robin Hood for many years every time, Great service and the best food and drink. The place is a teleporter that takes you away from North Hollywood and brings you to great food and great times.“
“The fried pickles were really good! We loved them! All of our meals were really good. The chicken was tasty. The BLT had a good amount of crispy bacon crisp lettuce. The garlic aioli was yummy. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely return.“
“VERY COOL!Stopped by for a quick round of drinks and a 2 step an hour before they closed.A smaller, quaint intimate club a few blocks from Sunset Blvd.Dj R-tistic is awesome!Told him we were from Baltimore and he stopped the music to put on some Baltimore club music.Heard about this spot from my guy Jamal down out Cork and Batter. We’ll be back through for sure.“
“Love it. The people are amazing, and chris and Joel are great, and so is Emily.Amazing place to come have chicken pot pie with a beer or savory apple pie with custard. I had to order to go after eating it.I will be coming back. i can't believe this place has been across the street from me for 3 years ?“
“I came here after an assistant director told me about it. After Mother's Day I decided it was time for mother's night. I hit up residuals lone wolfing it. I was quick to befriend a comedian who informed me that the White Russian drinks they make are good. Their prices are extremely reasonable compared to most bars in LA. Tip if you have a residual check for under a dollar you get a free drink. Make some friends with old people. I met a variety of different interesting characters. WARNING: This is a bar where people can actually sing during karaoke.“
“British Pub, food was good except we didn’t love our fish (with the fish and chips). Am older building but has good vibes. Service was excellent. They had a DJ doing some adult family feud games which were enjoyable and we almost won! I would recommend. The salad was amazing!“
“Best dive in weho! Really nice rotating taps and cheap prices. All the bartenders are super nice.Vegetarian options: No food served, but you can bring in what you want.Kid-friendliness: It's a bar, no food, no need for kidsParking: There is very limited street parking, some meters and some permited, but kinda hard to come by... It's a bar anyway so maybe walk/Uber?“
“Islands is a classic family favorite. I miss the giant birds that they had at the old location back in the day, however the modern day Islands is fresh take on the beachy island vibe of yesteryear. They have a spacious outdoor patio, bar space and plenty of booths inside. The menu has changed quite a bit over time (they have a burrito on the menu now?), but they are typically known for their burgers and fries. Their fries are so good and they always come in a large portion. I can never get enough! I ordered the big wave and the kid's burger for my son. For your burger you have a choice of bun (wheat or white) or you can do it lettuce wrapped. I thought the kids menu had a lot of great options for littles. My son really liked his side of pineapple! However his burger was SO salty. It was saltier than my big wave burger was, so not sure if this was a fluke or the kids burgers are just saltier. Didn't love it. I enjoyed my big wave. It's exactly what you would expect and the veggies on it tasted crisp and fresh. Service was great too! Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Overall the restaurant was clean and the atmosphere is enjoyable. I come here more for the nostalgia of it but I do crave their fries often!“
“First of all, they have 2 darts boards, shuffleboard and a pool table. It’s a few dollars, totally worth it! Drink prices are super reasonable, I get a double bourbon for under $20, unheard of in LA. Always fun crowd. Meters on Ventura or street parking on side streets. You might have to make a couple circles but there’s always something. No outside food and beverage, their food is cheap and surprisingly good!“
“Great experience had at Porter's House! This bar is located within the Whole Foods in Porter Ranch! Today I had amazing service from Alex and Xander at the bar! They were very helpful in selecting my drinks! They introduced us to a great combo of ciders to take the sweetness off! Plus they help me fine a good sparkling wine! Thanks for the great experience!!!!“
“I love the brickyard pool bars. They have shuffle board, darts, and pool of course. It's a little bit expensive to play pool at $12 an hour but at least the wait isn't too long! I waited about 30 minutes last night and there's no limit on how long you can play for, they just charge every 15 minutes. They only have beer, no hard liquor but it's always a fun time and the atmosphere is great!“
“Wing special was worth the $2.5 but you get what you pay for. The drinks were ok. But wait staff was super on it and really nice. I'd come back just based on service and atmosphere. I stayed for a very long time so Bill was up thereVegetarian options: Chili cheese frieds for sure“
“A great place for a beer. An excellent place for a pizza. They have a long list of terrific house-made beer, and the pizza is super tasty--the ultimate combination! This place has just the right vibe you'd want from a brewery. The difference is that some breweries feel very industrial. But Macleod feels homey and very local. Case in point: parking can be difficult sometimes. The first time I was able to park in the front lot, but I was blocking somebody. I went around the bar and found the guy I'd blocked in, and we agreed to find each other later and switch the cars. All very casual and chill, which made me feel right at home. Throw in a patio with a "scenic" view of a dark side street and some light industrial businesses, and you get the deal. Two more visits later, it's one of my favorite beer places in L.A.“
