“After over thirty years of dining at arts Carrie never had a bad meal and the people were always the best at what they do there’s three places in town that are the top three for a place to eat and enjoy the best staff that’s always been art’s corner cafe Pete’s breakfast snd two tress restaurant and even though art’s corner cafe is no longer owned by art the boys who own two trees hxx as ve done an awesome job at opening two trees across the street from where I’ve lived for over thirty years but when they opened it was good at best but the boys improved there service there food evolved and became of the best in taste snd quality and nis they own arts cafe now and have kept up there reputation of great food and great service and woukd recommend putting your name down in any of these three ventura iconic food restaurants and enjoy a great meal worth waiting for every time“

The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with that classic diner-meets-modern-sports-bar vibe, with bright red booths, TVs playing sports or random trivia, and the smell of burgers in the air that kind of makes you hungrier than you thought you were. The menu is big, with lots of burger options, from classic to wild (pineapple and teriyaki, anyone?), and everything feels customizable — you can swap patties, remove toppings, or go with a lettuce wrap if you’re trying to be healthier, which I appreciate.

“Dan closed the brewery down for the Ventura County Sportfishing Club holiday party event. 60-70 members/guests attended. The staff handled the party with aplomb and assured everyone enjoyed the evening. This is some of the best craft beer you can find. The food was amazing and plentiful especially the short ribs. I would encourage a visit for some great beers. And if you are having an event, I would strongly suggest working with these folks. These are some of the nicest people you will find at any establishment in Ventura. I will be a regular.“

“It's been a long long time since I've been to a Tommy's and decided to stop in on a Friday evening during a drive south to LA.

This location is right off the 101 in Ventura and has a great drive through. Unfortunately the lack of an ordering screen and the loud road noise nearby, cause the chili dog I had ordered along with a double chili burger to translated as an order of chili fries.

That issue aside the food was hot, well seasoned and just what I remembered in terms of heavy, rich, salty, savory chili piles on crisp fries and hot beef. Tommy's is truly indulgent and has been around for decades for a reason. The photos may not look appetizing, but it's some gooood stuff.

Grab some extra napkins and try Tommy's if you've never been but check on your order carefully if there's any confusion during the order process. I'm sure I'll be back.“

I know all the reasons for high fast food prices in CA, I just don't understand how most of them stay in business. Anyway the burger was pretty good when I got it home. The lady at the counter was nice, the place was empty, the drive-thru had a couple of cars.“

“They have best Brussel sprouts in Ventura and we try a lot of brussels sprouts. Their margaritas are excellent as well especially the cucumber jalapeño Margie.“

“I drove out excited to try smoked brisket for the first time, only to find out they had already sold out. Just when I thought I had missed my chance, a worker—possibly the owner—went above and beyond to check if anything at all was left. He came through and found me some, making sure I still got to experience it for the first time.

The brisket was nice and tender and had a really solid bark.“

“I had a great experience at IHOP thanks to our waiter, Carol. From the moment we sat down, she was warm, welcoming, and super attentive. She checked on our table often without being intrusive and made sure our food came out just the way we ordered it. Carol kept our drinks filled, gave great menu recommendations, and made the whole visit feel easy and relaxed. You can tell she really cares about her customers. If you’re coming to this IHOP, definitely ask for Carol—she’ll make your meal even better!“

“Whomever was working the drive-thru on 11/27 right before 4:30pm should be given recognition for their customer service skills. It's a tough day to be working in the first place. I can remember having to do it in the past. So it was nice to see an upbeat employee not disgruntled for working a holiday and also delivering quality customer service on top of the fact.
And hats off to the rest of the staff that I didn't get to see. My food was on point!

“Bistro 800 awhile now but rarely make it out to Noho. I have to say it was definitely worth the drive. I showed up at on a Saturday and put my name Bistro 800 . We were called in about minutes and seated inside, but know they have outside Bistro 800.“

“Our family went to eat at Carls today, Christmas Day. Jorge was the cashier who served us. Great customer service despite being super busy with a 2 person team and training someone new! I don't mind if they take a little extra time to clarify th8ngs with me or as a supervisor about something...that's a part of learning. It bothers me when they ask specifically how much of something I'd like and then don't accommodate. Then DON'T ASK?

“Haven't "dined in" for several years at any classic fast-food with a drive up until this stop. The dining room was exceptionally clean, as was the bathroom. The fries I got were not fresh. Pretty basic seating area with no real views, was not very inviting.“
