“I’ve enjoyed visiting Sunrise Bistro for breakfast. The convenient parking and manageable wait times make it a hassle-free spot for breakfast or brunch. I’ve tried a few dishes, like the carnitas and eggs, but my favorite by far is the smoked brisket and hash, which has become my go-to order. The only area for improvement would be the coffee. Better quality coffee and fresh creamer would really elevate the breakfast experience. Overall, it’s a nice place to dine in for breakfast or brunch.“

“We have ordered take-out from this location many times and think the pizza is great. Today we dined in and enjoyed their reasonably priced weekday all-you-can-eat lunch buffet for the first time. For just $15 per person, we had pizza and a delicious salad from their salad bar. It had a wide range of ingredient options including broccoli, egg, olives, cheese, chick peas, sunflower seeds and very fresh lettuce and tomato. There were also at least 3 different types of pizzas available when we were there including a.spicy veg, Hawaiian and pepperoni/sausage. The restaurant is very clean, the service is friendly and we recommend this restaurant for takeout and dine-in!“

“My favorite Sushi spot in Walnut Creek!!! It’s amazing here. I get the premium omakase and hand rolls every time. (Usually spicy tuna or salmon). The fish is super fresh and my favorite nigiri is the otoro of course.

They have some rolls there that are pretty good as well. The pacific roll is one of the ones we always get. But you can’t go wrong with all the others. Just pick the one with fish you like and it will taste so good.

Also the staff is so friendly and attentive. It’s worth it every time we go :)“

“My son recommended this place, and I’m sorry I waited so long! We ordered so much food they had to move us from a 2-top to a 4-top just to accommodate! We took a lot of leftovers, but there’s not one dish I would have removed from our order. Everything was felt, you could taste the various flavors of dumplings, the noodles were amazing and not “too saucy”, you could really taste the noodle. “I love this place. I have always seen one new truck every week. The variety is amazing. The place is always clean and kept as a safe environment for kids. An excellent spot for a first date or a family outing! Oh yah the customer service...I saw a lady drop her kids food...it was replaced within 5 mins from the manager. “My office is in downtown Walnut Creek and I decided to take a break from the overpriced, underwhelming, $20 lunches that come with a side of poor service and go for a little five minute drive, where I found Morucci’s. They offer a large menu of sandwiches and salads, and because it was difficult to narrow it down. I decided to start at the top and go with the #1 one Italian sub. It was really incredible! Rather than add on the suggested mustard or pesto, I asked for an unconventional ingredient to be added to an Italian sandwich (Mayo) and I was grateful that they didn’t (outwardly) judge me for my choice, because combined with the Italian dressing it was the perfect creamy, tangy combo. There’s a lovely outdoor shaded eating area where I was able to enjoy my sandwich. I will absolutely be back very soon. I’m hoping to work my way down the menu, but that Italian sub is going to be tough to beat. More Morucci’s, please!“

“I have been meaning to write this review for weeks! Not sure how to spell the young ladies name but Maya is such a joy every time I walk in the café. She goes above and beyond every single time, she actively asked those around her if they know how to make what was ordered and will have them shadow her if needed. She is genuinely taking the time to connect with the guest and give great recommendations and is making sure the team around her feels supported and is knowledgeable. As someone who also works in the plaza and worked in customer service for about 10 years you all truly have a gem in this place! I would give her more than 5 stars if I could.“
