“Stopped by today 11/17 @ 8:55pm approx. I was greeted by a young lady pink hair VERY NICE. She treated me so well, let me try some icecream, created small talk but it didn't seem forced, she is so nice! And of course my icecream is delicious. I didn't get her name but she was very friendly, girl with pink hair and wore a pink beanie. Thank uou for my delicious icecream ☺️“

“Some of the best ice cream can be found here! I was a bit reluctant at first but after trying a sample of the strawberry ice cream, I was hooked. Got a waffle cone of it and hands down, their waffle cones are the best. It’s the sweet spot of not too soft and not too hard. Best part is the wonderful lady who helped us was extremely friendly. Along with all of this, there is plenty of seating inside and outside. Highly recommend a visit here if you love ice cream!!“

I wanted to try, so I ordered child’s size Vegan Belgian Chocolate, Cioccolato Belga, since they added this non-diary version to the menu. OMG and thank you! It’s unbelievable how good it is! Vegetarian options: Vegan options are Sorbets and Vegan Belgian Chocolate. Not many but still absolutely worth a try!“

“I love eating fresh taiyaki that's hot off the pan! It does take a few minutes for them to make the taiyaki, but it's totally worth it. We ordered custard, Nutella, and red bean. They neatly labeled the flavors on the box so that you know which one is which.

There's some bar seating inside and a small table outside that can seat 4.

“Salt & Straw is an ice cream shop nestled on the iconic Sunset Blvd, in Silver Lake section of LA. This Orgeon based ice cream shop has a modest selection of handmade ice cream flavors. I rarely eat ice cream but today I was compelled due to 90 degree weather. I came and was given a perfunctory melancholic greeting by a young female staff. It was my first time tasting this brand of ice cream; I had a scoop of Coffee & Love Nuts flavor over a waffle cone which cost $8.15 bucks. Its texture was thicc, flavorful and very sweet. I had to drink water afterwards to ease the sweetness.

Service was on point. Staff needs to improve customer service greeting which was non-existent. Prices are okay. Overall, I liked my ice cream but I had better.“

My only complaint is that I believe they have recently changed the chocolate on the dipped cones which is one of my go to choices but this last time we visited the chocolate seemed like plastic and didn't even taste like chocolate 🤷 if you changed the chocolate to maybe save some money please go back, I don't think I'll ever have the dipped cone again if it doesn't go back to the previous chocolate or possibly it was a bad batch 🤷 also please bring back the butterscotch option for dipped cones 🤤otherwise my other option is always a banana split... Either way we will keep coming back for years to come, my kids always make sure to remind me to stop anytime we're in the area rain or shine“

“Best place I have ever gone too! The ice cream is delicious with many toppings that add to the impression and appearance of it. The quality of the ice cream rolls are much better than those of other places, and while it does take around 20 minutes to get your ice cream, it is completley worth it. This is one of the places I always show to people who our visiting the city :)“

I had no idea it was vegan until I saw the reviews on here! I recommend pairing the Calamansi with the Matcha—it tastes like a matcha lemonade. Other than that, the ice cream was absolutely amazing.

Only street parking in Larchmont, so I wish you all the best.

SERVICE
A long line formed right after we arrived, but we noticed it was moving efficiently while we enjoyed our ice cream.

All outdoor seating, which is covered. Probably the most aesthetically pleasing architecture for an ice cream shop in LA.“

Their flavors are delicious! The price is fair! And the atmosphere is unbeatable!
So many wonderful memories at this iconic ice cream shop, and you can feel that when you’re there.
Some original favorite flavors are green tea, and cookie monster which the kids love! I personally always enjoyed the banana walnut!
If you’re in town it’s definitely one of the top 3 to visit!

Parking: The parking lot is small only fits a few cars. There is free street parking, but depending on the time of day there may not be that many spots.

“Cantaloop Frozen Yogurt is great. It is not to be confused with the eatery that is right next to it and taking part of the outside. This is a wonderful yogurt shop and they even have Thai Ice Tea.

This place is family owned and the service is just amazing. The prices are fair and the place is spotless.

Any type of creamy frozen yogurt they have and they also have wonderful toppings.

It is such a cute place on Hollywood Blvd. You will just love it.
