“Stopped by today 11/17 @ 8:55pm approx. I was greeted by a young lady pink hair VERY NICE. She treated me so well, let me try some icecream, created small talk but it didn't seem forced, she is so nice! And of course my icecream is delicious. I didn't get her name but she was very friendly, girl with pink hair and wore a pink beanie. Thank uou for my delicious icecream ☺️“

I got it with the mango ice cream and it reminded me of mango sticky rice. I would say it’s kind of pricey but I don’t mind supporting small businesses, and it is definitely high quality! “Stopped by this ice cream shop on a beautiful saturday evening. Had a cool old school vibe to it with a jukebox. We sampled various flavors (hibiscus sorbet, pistachio, mint chip, chocolate, coconut). I went with the coconut on a cone. It was good! I would definitely come back and try other flavors.“

“Ken’s, is the best ice cream in the world! I think the loving attitude used to scoop it up, makes it extremely special! My grandkids started my journey with Ken’s, years ago. My oldest grandson is now 25 and the baby is 16. Whenever there is ice cream wanted in my house and they are around, it’s a trip to Ken’s! “I am usually not the type to write a review, but the service that Sebastian provided was top tier. Sebastian allowed us to sample some products and provided some creative suggestions when it came to combination like a peanut butter and jelly like option when it came to gelato. He was extremely patient with me as I made chose a flavor or gelato to take home and even promoted the points system when imputing our phone number before purchasing it. His service alone is 5 stars alone and the products that were sold were extremely delicious as well, I am looking forward to trying more flavors and running into him again for more suggestions he comes across of.“

“Fosters Freeze’s, Large soft serve,Vanilla ice cream cones, dipped in chocolate syrup, are good and messy. They made me a triple cheeseburger back in the early 70’s way before Burger King or In-n- out ever had them.“

I haven’t had frozen yogurt in over eight years because it’s almost impossible to find it vegan, so coming here felt like pure nostalgia—straight back to being a high schooler grabbing froyo! “Major props to Los Alpes Ice Cream. I get nostalgic every time I come here. I have been visiting since I was a kid and the memories I have from this place are all great. The quality is just as good today as it was back then. I literally met my best friend here over 30 years ago and the interior still looks exactly the same.

I love coming here every chance time permits when I am visiting Los Angeles. It is one of those places that brings me right back and it never disappoints.

The flavor selection is amazing. Even though I usually keep it simple with cookies and cream, I have a hard time resisting the mamey and nuez every single time. Their ice creams are packed with ingredients. Cookies and cream is loaded with actual cookies and the nuez has that perfect nutty richness in every bite.

The staff and owner are always attentive, friendly, and genuinely pleasant. This place is a true Los Angeles institution. It still surprises me how many people do not know about this gem. If you have never been, do yourself a favor and check it out. You will see why it has been around for decades.“
