“Great cookies! However, this store was unable to handle their own promotion that made them extremely busy. I ordered my cookies in advance but when I picked up- they were sold out. They were giving customers different options regarding the sold out cookies and it varied from one customer to the next. No consistency and it was clear this was a new issue that they had no protocol for.“

“The Funnel Cake was fire. - fresh out the bath! The ice cream was high quality and it held up to the hot funnel cake (didn't turn into soup)! On a different note, the tables need to be serviced better between guests so as to not get the customer before you's sticky experience (ick).“

“I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.“

“I can’t say enough good things about Bostan by Grandma! Their Gata is truly out of this world. soft, with a sweetness that’s just right, not overpowering like so many others. Every bite reflects the love and expertise they put into their baking. You can taste the difference that high-quality, organic ingredients make; everything has the perfect balance of flavor. I’ve tried several of their other pastries, and they’re all equally amazing. It’s rare to find such authentic, flavorful food made with such care and attention. “My absolute new favorite restaurant! We were visiting family in LA from Chicago and they took us here, I ended up going three times in my one week visit. Cheese stuffed zaatar and the sojouk kachopuri were my favorite and the garlic chicken wrap was my husbands. Honestly everything we had was delicious and the kids kept asking for the pepperoni pizza and mini pizzas.“

“Inside, there is only room to order food and buy bread. Their cinnamon roll is pretty good, but served cold. Their everything cookie is delicious. There is ample seating outdoors for brunch, and servers are nice. The breakfast sandwich is good, and their standouts are shakshuka (absolutely delicious!) and the chai latte. Their vanilla latte is also well bodied and just sweet enough.“

“I recently visited Vanak restaurant, and it was a pleasant experience. The place is cozy, with a relaxed atmosphere perfect for a casual meal. The staff was very friendly and quick to take our orders.

My son ordered Joojeh Kabsb, which was juicy and flavorful, served with a side of rice. I ordered Abgoosht, and I loved how fresh and well-seasoned it was. It reminded me my childhood traditional abgoosht places in Tehran.

The prices were reasonable, and the portions were just right. Overall, Vanak is a great spot for a quick and tasty meal. I’ll definitely be back.“

“Stopped by for some sweets on our way home - got three cakes slices and a layered something. All of them were good, and I forgot to take a pic before we devoured them.
The fella there was patient with me while I considered the choices, and put our selections in a pretty box. There were tables and it was well lit with several tables for staying onsite.

A fine selection of cheeses, meats antipasto in the deli-case, cookies to canned goods on the dried goods shelves, frozen tiramisu to lasagne in the freezer case. I was extremely satisfied with her customer service skills definitely needs promotion and to train these other unprofessional rude workers . None the less Jasmine the worker made experience 10/10 . I ordered two cakes from A Sweet Design during this order and they were both so good!
We did a custom heart cake for my 30th and a carrot cake for my mom and they were excellent!
The custom heart cake had Chocolate Chip Vanilla Bean and safe to say, that’s my new favorite! We’ve had the black and white cake before and that was a hit too!

“Food’s great! I simply wish though that they had more veggies on their menu and their melon/canteloupe drinks with no added sugar. But I can’t complain as they cater to ur every whim/special requests like for extras or add- ons. Customers leave happy and satisfied that’s why they keep coming back for more.
