“Somehow I had never tried this place until about a month ago through Uber eats when I was craving an Apple fritter. Have ordered a few times since and think I’ve found my favorite donut/breakfast sandwich place in LA. Everything is always super fresh even if I order at 3 in the afternoon. The fritter is huge and might be the best I’ve ever had. Bagel breakfast sandwiches are perfect as are the other donuts I’ve had. So happy places like this still exist!!!“

“Really unique donuts made from taro root. They are smaller but made fresh to order. One is enough for a sweet treat but if you’re hungry get 2. They have unique flavors like black sesame banana brûlée. Also some cool merch and Hawaiian goods.“

They are as friendly as usual and the bread is delicious.
The glaze is done properly.

“Mike at Mama Donuts decorated our donuts as a turntable for our daughter’s 50th birthday. It was a vinyl record party theme! The donuts were amazing! The decor, the taste. “a late night beacon , fosters donuts is an oasis . i decided to go for a drive , nevermind it was 11 pm . up the 2 til it ended is where i ended up not sure how its just as it was . with out any other cars on the road it was easy to decide to take a look around this lil highway end town . glad i did because it was the lights i spotted first , lit up and sparkling , fosters donuts . i saw a few groups of people in the window which is always a good sign , a trusted establishment. once inside i immediately noticed that the cases were relatively bare except for say the random cinnamon roll or a few twists . luckily i noticed the racks in the back , full of fresh donuts ! i asked for one of the nearest ones , a cake donut . divine ! crispy outside soft warm inside , pleasantly spongy and very cakey . ive been to three weddings this summer and none of the cakes were as good as this . one of the best $1.80s ive spent this week . as LA slumbers fosters makes magic . i will be back very soon !“

“Alright, this might be the best donut shop anywhere around this part of town. It’s family owned and operated, no hipster shit just OGs with a classic and good shop. The donuts are really good in my opinion but the apple fritter is to die for.. so bomb. They have a big refrigerator with basically every drink you can think of and even in the middle of summer all of the drinks are super cold, an underrated detail missed by most businesses owners. Stop by after a work out or bike ride and get an apple fritter and a cold can of coke, you won’t be disappointed.“
