“Hit up the bowling alley after a Rivercats game - spur of the moment decision on the walk back to our hotel. What a fun end to the night. Bowled a few games and had a few drinks. The gals at the front desk were great and got us in within a few minutes of arriving. The bartenders were nice and attentive. Had a great time.“

“I'm not usually a chain restaurant person but I absolutely love Yard House. The Poke Nachos are one of my favorite dishes. I always get this anytime I go. Sometimes I get the ahi tuna stack as well or the ahi salad with the nachos as well. If ya can't tell I highly suggest the ahi tuna dishes. Also I recommend the mushroom noodle appetizer as well.“

“Had dinner here on 1-15-25 party of 3. Very good service. Espresso martinis were great! Started with artisan bread and Brussel sprouts. It was a little weird to have the pancetta on the side vs mixed into the dish but everyone agreed we really liked them. Then we had Dungeness crab arrabiata, duck fat seared scallops and the short rib. Favorite dish was the short rib! The arrabiata had a good variety of seafood but I wasn’t a huge fan of the squid ink tonarelli. The scallops we tasty just tiny and too few, so that was the least liked dish. Finished off with a flourless chocolate cake that was good. Next time we want the brie appetizer! I’d dine here again but it hasn’t moved into my top 10. We each had a cocktail to start and shared a modest bottle of Pinot. Out the door $400.“

“What a wonderful first visit! We had the good fortune of having Art as our server. (Having read previous reviews, we knew we were in good hands and he didn’t disappoint!) We ordered the Drunken Pork Fries, Angus Beef Sliders and Buffalo Wings and were impressed by the portions and execution. While we had no intention of ordering dessert when we arrived, we had no regrets as we polished off the last of the Sticky Toffee Cake with Vanilla Ice cream. It was a surprisingly memorable visit thanks to exceptional service, great food and fun environment. Just signed up for UOB Rewards and will be back soon!

“Very nice spot inside the Citizens Hotel in Downtown Sacramento. We went when it wasn't busy and the food took a little while but it was still pretty good so I won't penalize them for the wait. The server was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive.“

I have a gluten allergy and the individual taking our order took the time to go over what items on the menu were gluten free and which ones had potential cross contamination. And to top it off the food was phenomenal! One of the best burgers I've had in a long time even if I had to skip the bun.

“My husband and I celebrated my birthday at Moxie's last night and it was truly memorable. My husband had the sea scallops/prawn dinner that was perfectly prepared; we had the crab pot stickers, also excellent; and I had an outstanding halibut dinner that was also perfectly prepared. Often times I order halibut in a restaurant, only to be somewhat disappointed. The dinner at Moxie's was THE BEST EVER! I'm a foodie and left the restaurant on a foodie high. The light sauce over the halibut complimented the delicacy of the fish, the vegetables (mashed potatoes, carrots, yellow squash, shredded beets, and green beans) were prepared to perfection and arranged separately on the plate. Plate presentation was creative and easy to maneuver. Everything was perfect! Thank you, Adam and staff, for a memorable experience.

Parking: We have been to Moxie's twice recently and both times found street parking easily -- once right in front of the restaurant and last night just around the corner.“

“Uber eats the Salmon with Quinoa and Caesar salad. The portion size was good, the freshness was good quality as well. I wish the salmon had a little more seasoning and not so much of the sauce that comes with it. My asparagus were over done as well.“

If there is live music, there is normally a cover charge, but if you are just going to eat before the band starts, you can usually get in without paying the cover.“

“The Star Lounge is located on 2719 K street in Sacramento inside Hyatt Hotel. The ambience is sophisticated, exclusive, and oooh-la-la. The service that we received was exceptional. The restaurant offers creative cocktails including small bites for happy hour. The interior design features a historic antique look, which is mysterious and elegant. The bartender was extremely attentive and super fast, and Ryan Seng (the manager) went over and beyond to accommodate our party and provided excellent hospitality. We were particulary impressed with Ryan who anticipated all our needs, considering we were a party of 20. My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary and we wanted to host an intimate cocktail hour with some close friends and everything was perfect. Overall the experience was great and everyone had a great time. I’ll definitely be back to enjoy the happy hour and the full menu and I highly recommend the Star Lounge.“

“We stopped by here for the first time. Love the atmosphere. Lots of friendly people hanging out. The staff was really friendly and very happy to help us. We had 2 grilled cheese and tomato soup combos, Sundried Tomato & Mozzarella Panini, Bánh Mì Dog, Chimichurri Dog, and a couple cold beers on tap. Love this place. We will be back. “We really enjoyed this place. Good atmosphere. They have a bar, and it's a good place to watch sports while you grab a bite or drink. Establishment and restrooms were clean during my visit. I really loves their waffle style fries and the skinny French fries.
