The delivery driver was professional and courteous (he delivered to a hotel and made sure to bring us plates). The pizza was delicious! “I have mixed feelings of calling this place overpriced, but I think it is overpriced.

Because if you only get a bowl of rice and one single dish, you can maybe walk out with spending only $10-15 for a meal, which is decent. But if you start even thinking about trying a few more dishes out you are easily going to spend $20 or even $30 for robot-made Chinese food (The food is, in fact, very good.)

But I feel the financial benefit of reducing labor cost by partially replacing human labor with machines, is not brought down to the consumers as much. At least that’s how I felt after paying $30 for a rice bowl and three small side dishes.

“This is my go to place any time I come to UCLA for medical stuff. The food is excellent quality - flavorful and fresh. Staff has always been helpful and the service is usually quick. Parking is not great, so I will usually walk from the medical center. I've brought several family members with me and they have all loved it too. Highly recommend!“

“I ordered the slider, tender, french fry combo and loved it. The slider was very hot. I’m thinking that it had an extra spicy sauce on it. It made my nose, run a little and feel compelled to eat a bunch of french fries to reduce the spiciness in my mouth. But, I loved it! The tender was not as spicy and slightly dry, so I put some of the honey that the nice gentleman at the counter gave me when I picked it up. I originally ordered the food and intended on bringing it home, but changed my mind and Ate it in the restaurant because I Didn’t want it to get cold.
I loved the food and wish there was a Dave’s Hot Chicken restaurant closer to my home. The food reminded me of a Famous hot chicken restaurant in Nashville. I was so glad to have that food again. 😊😋 Btw, I gave The atmosphere four stars Because it was cold in there. But that’s how fast food restaurants do it. I did love the music selection. I heard ABC (which I couldn’t get enough of in the 80s!) and Blondie and a couple of current songs. That made it seem more homey and unique to me. Overall, it was a great experience. The people at the counter were very friendly. I wanted to wash my hands afterwards and saw that there was a keypad on the restroom, but I figured it out on the first try, which was nice. 😂“

“FABULOUS SERVICE ! We rate great service above everything else and if we don't get it.....we don't come back ! My wife and I were heading to Santa Monica ( 152 miles from Solana Beach ) for a weekend getaway on Friday and needed a planned lunch stop on the way. Last year when I renewed my Australian passport at the Australian Consulate-General in L.A my wife jumped online and found a Lokal Sandwich Shop on National Blvd close by for our lunch break. The sandwiches, drinks and service were excellent at that location and we expected the same here. Considering we were heading towards L.A on a busy Friday we made great time. We parked in the private carpark and walked in about 12.30pm. It was bright and cheery inside just like the other location we visited. A sweet young lady named Emily greeted us straight off. First up we both had to hit the restrooms ( nice & clean ) after our non-stop drive from Solana Beach. NO PROB ! And then we sat at a table ready to select our lunch order. At the service counter we ordered 1 x ICED LATTE, 1 x THAI ICED TEA, 1 X BBQ PORK BANH MI ( cucumber, jalapeño, mayo, housed pickled daikon & carrots, cilantro on a baguette ) and 1 X THE CUBANO ( Ham, shredded pork, pickled cucumber, swiss cheese, mayo, dijon mustard on toasted rustic sourdough ). BONUS BONUS BONUS...when I checked in on YELP I got an offer for 20% off our first visit. I TOOK IT ! So far so good...very friendly service from Emily the cashier and WE LIKED THE VIBE....an intangible thing that you feel. Our iced drinks were ready in next to no time and tasted very refreshing. I haven't savored a BBQ Pork Banh Mi since last year ( at a Lokal Sandwich Shop ) and this one did not disappoint...hitting all the right fresh and healthy notes. My wife went nuts over The Cubano...quite a large fully loaded sandwich. It wasn't real busy at that time of day so we took our time enjoying our delicious lunch. I noticed that they had craft beer on tap...I didn't see that at the location we visited last year. I asked Vanessa behind the counter....why is this location called Lokal Sandwich + Burger Bar instead off Lokal sandwich Shop ? And Vanessa replied...because this location sells beer. OK ! We really enjoyed everything we ordered here and had a relaxing break from driving. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !“

“The location of the restaurant is smack center of downtown GSU, a young and vibrant, busy little area reminiscent of a ‘baby Manhattan’ but with nicer people and eco-friendly eateries. The interior is aesthetically pleasing with a black and yellow color scheme throughout the establishment, coordinated seating areas for dining in, and simple yet impactful decor with the background story of Mr. Fries Man framed along the walls. The atmosphere was welcoming and extremely professional and the fries themselves were everything! I had the shrimp and steak fries and they were fresh and hot, the steak cut into perfect bite size bits, the shrimp cooked perfectly, and the sauce a delicate balance between sweet and savory to tie it altogether *chefs kiss*. The place has increased in price since I first came here and the menu has changed and what I used to get is no longer on the menu. LION KING ROLL is my goto. It’s delicious. However….. Today as I approached the counter to get my food, a homeless girl walks in barges right next to me as my order is being processed and given to me, and asks “y’all got any miso soup?!?” Stinky and obviously covered in filth, no bath for probably years and a dirty soiled blanket wrapped around her, I was instantaneously disgusted. Miso soup was given to her and I don’t know what else because I got outta there before she could even ask me for money or whatever! You feed a pigeon and what happens??? A dozen or more come. This is a simile; a point I’m trying to make. Homeless are the root of the problems here in Koreatown. You feeding them is the hand the feeds the problem.“

“I absolutely love Toni Khachapuri! I’ve eaten here many times — it’s always delicious, fast, and super affordable. The khachapuri are just incredible, truly comfort food at its best. Perfect spot for a quick bite or a filling meal. My only small suggestion: please consider replacing the adjika — it slightly takes away from the overall experience.
