My favorites are the Insanity Later and the Just Peachy. The ingredients are so fresh and the Grandmas focaccia bread is made soft and not too chewy or toasted. “Eric the manager today, Oct. 14, 2024, demonstrated exceptional customer service and friendliness. There was an issue with a female employee which I believe he privately and graciously addressed to my satisfaction. She assumed I was a homeless person in need of a bathroom. I use a walker. She refused to allow me to enter nor did she direct me to a place where I could enter. I never asked for a bathroom. She said I could go to Starbucks next door where there is a bathroom. She did not listen to me at all and was rude and inconsiderate.
Eric was also thorough with my orders and I appreciated it because I made several changes to suit my friends and my tastebuds. He went out of his way to make me feel valued as a customer. And lastly he escorted me to my car and made sure I knew how to enter the restaurant through the parking lot next time. Eric made my experience at Mendocino Farms very very pleasant. “Me and my husband shared our favorite sandwich, Left Coast Pastrami and a bag of Maui onion chips, today. We agree that this sandwich shop is better than Togos, Subway and Jersey Mikes. We will definitely keep coming back and encourage others to try it out - you won't be sorry!“

“This is a cool deli with a number of options to choose from. Both hot and cold sandwiches, they offer hot dogs as well. Friendly staff and a clean dining g area with a wall mounted television. We chose to sit inside which has ample space although there is seating available outside.

“I was super hungry when I found Charlie’s Deli right by the beach in Venice. A bunch of sandwiches on his menu caught my eye but I ended up ordering the Italian Job because im a big fan of mortadella. The sandwich was very good the meats were on point the only thing I would have done different was the amount of cheese in it. I know some of you are all for super molten cheesy sandwiches. “You gotta understand that here their bread is 5 stars mate; they don’t use salt in their meats, so note that, you’ll definitely taste the difference. The service is quick, their menu is small but good. And one can assume that every time they come here it’s gunna be a good eat.“

“Some seriously delicious but fairly small sandwiches. They have many locations all around Los Angeles this being the most Westward of the bunch. It’s located in a small strip mall with a lot of parking. However, the parking lot spaces are very tight so if everyone is not parking well it may be hard to find some spaces. If the parking lot is full it’s easy to find free parking in the neighborhood behind the shopping center. It’s more of a to go type of place although they do have tables inside to eat. The attendant behind the counter was very polite and all of our items were made quickly for a last-minute Saturday night dinner.

As mentioned the sandwiches here are quite small so don’t think of it like a submarine sandwich location or somewhere with giant belly busting sandwiches. It’s closer to the size of Porto’s sandwiches. We decided to try a few of their sandwiches. We ordered The Bentley, The Medianoche, and the Carving Club. The best of the bunch was the Bentley because the meat was truly tender and seasoned well and the sauce with it made it extra creamy and just a wonderful bite. The Medianoche was also pretty good, although not the most authentic Cuban sandwich. I wish it would’ve had a stronger mustard flavor, but still I really enjoyed it. The Carving Club was probably my least favorite of the three just because of its small size. The flavors were good, but it didn’t have the traditional club flavors in my opinion. We also ordered the tomato soup and fries as our sides and I was a big fan of the tomato soup, however, the goat cheese in it was extremely small, but the fries were not my favorite because they were a little too crisp and hard. I tend to like mine soft and salty.

Overall a solid sandwich place that has some great to go options. I would recommend anyone in the area searching for a great sandwich.

Depending on what’s ordered the wait time isn’t bad for a small sandwich shop. I dined in each time I visited and found it to be a nice place to sit with earbuds in while I escaped the heat and enjoyed my sandwich and coffee.“
