“I’ve been to LA Sandwich bar for lunch several times and it’s consistantly excellent - big menu, extremely high quality ingredients, and warm and friendly service.

Decided to order catering through them for a party and placed an order for about 60 sandwiches, a mix of regular and vegetarian options.

The sandwiches were a total hit! Our guests raved about them and it was perfect, handheld food to enjoy while talking to friends (we cut them into thirds to make it easy for guests to grab while they were chatting).

Would highly recommend not only for a quick lunch but a great option for a group gathering as well.“

“I recently ordered catering from Lokal Venice and it was such a great experience. The place itself is super cute, the interior is really well put together and just beautiful to look at.

This was my first time ordering catering from them, and it was a total success. Everything was delivered right on time, and the presentation was amazing. I ordered burritos and asked them to cut them in half, which made everything look extra neat and organized, perfect for a group setting.

I had quite a few dietary restrictions to accommodate since this was for a Teacher Appreciation Day at a school (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, egg allergies, dairy-free) and they handled everything so well. The communication was easy, they responded quickly to emails, and made the whole process stress-free.

On top of all that, they even let me take their insulated bags to make it easier to transport everything, they just asked me to return them later. I thought that was such a thoughtful and helpful touch.

I 1000% recommend them, and I’ll definitely be ordering from them again for my next catering!“

“Went here to meet a friend for a quick lunch. Staff was friendly and helpful with the menu. They offer a decent amount of very interesting sandwiches , most of which can be made vegetarian as well. I believe there was one vegan sandwich also. I ordered the Giving Tree sandwich , it came on delicious homemade focaccia bread with spicy mayo, herbed turkey, cheese and arugula. What a fantastic sandwich. Everything tasted fresh and was sliced SUPER THIN. The bread was really good quality. Also they sell Zapps chips which I love. The voodoo flavor is the ultimate OG.“

“I came for the first time to try these Philly cheesesteaks. The young lady with braids at the register had great customer service. As a first timer I asked what they recommend and a gentleman in the back by the name of Bob said he recommends the Cooper Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich with the Sesame seed bread. I tried it and it was the best Philly cheesesteak sandwich I’ve ever had! The cheese melted into the steak and every bite was savory. “This place is a hidden gem. The Philly cheesesteak with fries/drink combo is one of my favorite lunches on the westside. Plenty of well seasoned meat & veggies, and the option to add lettuce/tomato/mayo - which I do. And the sandwich is very neatly wrapped in paper and cut in half - making it easy to eat. The crinkle cut fries are always perfectly cooked - with a crisp outside, but still fluffy inside, and then enhanced with seasoning (Lawry’s maybe?). Plus self-serve Coke fountain beverages (a sign says only 1 refill, but they don’t seem to be stingy with this).

They also have teriyaki bowls and burgers - but I haven’t tried those yet.

They have a GREAT selection of bottled & canned sodas/drinks, including Jarritos, Jones, Boylan, and Snapple - big winners!

The inside is dated and worn…and it’s perfect!
It’s been here since 1957, and appears to be family owned & operated.

Honestly the bread they use is incredible, still crunchy but doesnt tear up your mouth at all which is rare for me. I wasnt expecting much because tourist spots hit or miss but this place actually made my day better for real ... they have this one side salad with like pickled onions and I grabbed it on a whim ...
