There are two sizes: medium and large. The large is equivalent to an extra large you might find at other Pho places. You get to customize your bowl by selecting four cuts of meat out of 10 options. The pho comes with your standard toppings, and you can additionally get extra orders of noodles/sides/toppings.

Having been to the other famous Pho places in OC, Pho 101 honestly has the most accessible dining experience for a comparably delicious broth. The space is large and the service is fast, meaning less to no wait in line. And you have the option to pay by cash or card (pay at the front).“

“After visiting the OC/LA area, we're on the way back to the Bay Area, we wanted to have some lunch before we go. Some of the restaurant closed on Monday, one our friends recommended this place for real excellent egg noodles soups, so we stopped by, it's right next to PLT the big VN shopping center.
There's no parking for this restaurant, the whole block has a few parking spots and there's parking on the PLT but always full. We had to park outside on a different shopping center.
The restaurant is small and simple, clean. The owner or the care taker seems to be extremely friendly and attentive sitting us on a table.
The menu has quite a few dishes, but we're concentrating on egg noodle soup for lunch so we ordered the special bowl of rice noodles instead of egg noodles. It's quite good, quite tasty with chinese crispy donuts.
We had a great lunch and the price is extremely inexpensive. Ready to drive home.“

“Food: We tried three things
1) We try the HK style beef chow fun and it was really amazing a must try here. You can taste the charcoal broiled taste and it was well seasoned. Might be a little oily though but the taste is very nice 5/5
2) Next is fish Congee with pork blood on sides. The presentation is nice and taste is average but I try putting little hotsauce and fish sauce to add flavor and it went well 4/5
3) Chinese Donut is a must too. taste blend well with the congee and taste is reallu 5/5.

Service: When we came in it was not too crowded so the order was done pretty fast so service is 5/5

Ambiance: It was nice and clean like typical vietnamese restaurant nothing fancy.

“I'm sad to say this place has closed their business. At least their physical presence. They do offer ordering over the phone that you can go pick up at another location. But I at least wanted to share my experience. It's in the same Plaza as A Dong Market and Seafood Cove across from the Asian Garden Mall/Phuoc Loc Tho. I used to come here all the time for my mom when she asked me to purchase banh uoc/cuon, the kind of thing that you can find in Vietnam or at restaurants like Tay Ho. My mom usually ordered plain rice noodles so that she can make her own combinations that we would all eat. Such as more veggies or other Deli slices (cha lua). It was very affordable and they had a wide variety of ready to eat dishes as well. Never felt heavy and always left not feeling gross. Kind of like rice noodle salad dishes with some sort of protein. They also have other rice noodle variations with dried shrimp or ground pork with Woodear or mushrooms. Everything was delicious. You know they're good when even my mom could eat their nuoc mam with the noodles. Wish they reopened somewhere else in case the rent was high or something. I'm pretty sure it was just the location and the rent because there wasn't that much foot traffic.“

Their pizza outclasses any other in the area bar none, and their other menu items are nothing to shake a cannoli at either. “Banh Cuon Tay Ho 2 has been my family's go to place ever since I was a little kid. My parents will take me here when I crave banh xeo and banh cuon. I know they have other food on their menu but their banh xeo and banh cuon are delicious. Their banh xeo is nice and crispy. Their veggie platter they bring out with it are fresh and the banh cuon dat biet is delicious as well. Their restaurant has a nice ambience and their staff was friendly.“

I’ve tried MANY matcha places in OC/LA and (tmi) but as someone who suffers from stomach issues- this places ceremonial grade matcha doesn’t bother my stomach at all!! “My teenagers and I had the Motto Black, the Motto Red, and the Motto Special. All bowls were tasty and delicious. Noodles were fresh and the chaschu melted in your mouth. “We run a busy DIY art studio nearby, and Fantastic Cafe is one of our go to places when we get really busy and need something to go, or when we need an extra energy pickup at the start/end of a long day. The chicken one was savory and rich, while the coconut one had a slightly sweet, creamy taste that was just as satisfying.

I also ordered a passion fruit drink, which was refreshing and naturally sweet, a perfect match with the pastries. “I love a good banh mi. Especially their spam and egg. I like their bread, it’s on par with the best. Ingredients are good quality and they have a plethora of Vietnamese goodies to go. This location is better than the Tustin one- a lot more options and I think their banh mi is better too! I also like the Vietnamese iced coffee. It’s pretty strong!“
