“The food here is great. The tacos are good and they also have different items you do not typically find at other taco places. You get to chose between corn and flour tortillas.
They have something called a torito which is a mix between a taco and a quesadilla. They have chorreada, pellizcada, and crazy potatoes. Their salsa is also delicious. They got a guacamole salsa that's good.“

“Sol 626 is truly special. The menu offers a good variety of dishes, and our server was very knowledgeable about the ingredients and the origins of the recipes. Ambiance and service were exemplary, but the food was the real star of our evening. We tried the salmon, carne asada, and enchiladas with both red and green mole sauces. Each of these plates was perfectly prepared. Such amazing flavors! I also ordered the jamaica agua fresca, and it was delicious and not too sweet. I highly recommend Sol 626.

“I went to this place hungover and the guys were awesome they gave me my menudo nice and hot and were super chill. They even gave us an extra bowl for my husband. Lol The staff are friendly, they understood the assignment 🤣 Not to mention the prices are reasonable unlike other spots that charge too much for menudo. Definitely recommend 👌🏼“

“I've made a few pit stops here through the past year and it's always been on point. Their tacos are made with top quality meats. Their birria has been my favorite. And their breakfast burritos have just been top notch for me.

A lot of people in Uptown are sleeping on thos place.
Also feel it's best after a night of fun at the bars in the area.

“First time eating here. I’m going off of previous reviews. I ordered 2 tacos de asada and 2 tacos of al pastor and both meat’s were really flavorful. Street tacos for $2.25 each, great deal for what you get. The only thing, it says on their Google page that they take credit cards, well they have a ATM machine inside for a fee you can take money out. If not it’s really CASH Only. I’ll be going back for sure. Also their salsa was on point for my taste buds. Girl behind the register was really nice as well. Only bad thing is the parking, if you park head first you have to back out onto Whittier Blvd, scary 😬“

“Amazing Sope Tacos Desvelados is basically a thick tortilla with lots of tasty things on top of it. The base is made from masa dough, which is cooked until the outside gets crispy and the inside stays soft and chewy. Each bite tastes great because of the different textures that are mixed together.“

One time they got my order wrong and gave me 2 asada tacos instead of 2 Al Pastor tacos, they gladly fixed the issue and gave me the 2 Al Pastor tacos that I ordered and I kept the other 2 they gave me at first. I have lived in whittier my whole life and I can say that the food from this food truck is the best from any other food truck I've had.“

They needed to heat it up more, the cheese was not remotely melted, I guess I shouldn't have ordered it with everything, the salad probably cooled everything down.
