The burgers are great, the thousand island on the side was so good. Now I know why they give those out extra. We also got a small chili cheese fry. Everything was so good. Get the chili peppers to eat with your burger if you like a little spice.“

“The Workers were funny cracking jokes it was kinda busy when I got there so the wait time was about 15-20 mins between the time you ordered and got your food. I was craving a charbroiled cheeseburger and it was delicious the prices weren't too bad either between 5-10 dollars for most items at least lunch items. “At first glance, you probably thought Google Maps directed you to the wrong address. There's no way this is the correct burger restaurant, but looks can be deceiving. With a sketchy-looking "order inside" sign on the wall outside, you walk into the liquor store and see this hole-in-the-wall burger joint.

I ordered the classic hamburger and regular fries to be on the safe side, but I wish I had been braver to try out the other options. The total costs for the hamburger and fries came out to be ~$20 with a tip. The hamburger felt like a homemade hamburger fresh from off the grill. The fries were a little salty but goes perfect with the ketchup. We ate outside on the tables since there weren't any available seats inside or public bathrooms that we saw, although I could be wrong.

- BATHROOM. I didn't see one but there could be one inside the liquor store for customers only.
- CLEANLINESS. The presentation of the food was good. Nothing spilled and all utensils were in the bag.
- COSTS. $ Decently priced for the quality.
- CUSTOMER SERVICE. The staff were very fast. It took about 10 minutes for the food to come out.
- FOOD QUALITY. The ingredients are fresh and super tasty. Nothing frozen, generic, or bland. Something about hamburgers make me nostalgic.
- FOOD QUANTITY. A decently sized meal.
- WAIT TIME. About a 10 minute wait.“

Longer than 30 years ago, I was working with local bands inSanDiego, and after wrapping everything up, we'd go to Albertos or Robertos, and I thought about this while I was eating. “Last week I had a burger and fries and today I had the comisky dog and chili cheese fries. The burger and fries were delicious. I'm originally from Chicago so I know my stuff and while the Comisky wasn't an authentic Chicago dog, it was still pretty good. The chili cheese fries were great. The chili was meaty with alot of beans ( real chili does not have beans but I digress) and generous.“

This was my first time at Broken Spirits distillery. Came oodles of times at Portuguese Bend distillery so it the restaurant is similar yet different at the same time. Major differences for me: I feel like this is more of a BBQ based restaurant/distillery with all the meat on the menu. (Don't get me wrong, I love the meat!). We ordered and shared the 16 oz prime New York steak ($44.99) which also comes with two sides! This is a killer deal that I would def come back for. For sides we got broccolini and fried Brussels. ( Alone they're $7 side). TBH, I kind of enjoyed the sides a bit more than the entree itself, but both were great.

Cocktails were yummy too as they were about avg price for LA county at $14 each. Came fast and tasted great!

There is plenty of seating inside and service was great. Parking is close in the garage across the street if there is no street parking.
