“It has changed over the years. The staff used to be extra special and friendly; now they're just trying to get over their day. But don't take it personal, they're not too bad. It's the food that has taken a dip... Now, as much as it pains me to say, they're mediocre, at best. The 1000 island sauce has changed, the service and quality have been suffering; but, sincerely, for the burger craving you have when you're nearby, it's really nice and not that bad. I guarantee that you have had way worse... Just keep in it real.“

“The atmosphere is this place is awesome. The seating is also pretty cool as you can eat upstairs where you can overlook at the water. The service was great too! The food was a solid as well. I got the winger which is like their classic burger and the waste em all. The winger was a decent burger and I would say the bun steals the show as it is perfectly toasted. The waste em all was a decent burger but the green chilis overtake the flavor of the burger. Overall, this place was great and I would definitely come back for the vibes and to try different burgers.“

The burger was very tasty and not too big as to weigh you down. Very fresh quality ingredients. I will be giving my local smash burger a try pretty quick to see if it matches up. Good Job guys“

“I saw this place while driving and saw a line waiting for their food, so I decided to give it a try.. Ì asked those in line, what was good there.. The answer was either the teriyaki bowl or plates, and the teriyaki burgers.. I got the teriyaki chicken bowl.. it looked and smelled great driving home.. After eating it, I didn’t understand the line of people waiting.. It was okay, but in my opinion, no big deal.. I’ll be honest, I did eat it ALL, and the serving size was BIG, so by no means was it bad.. To be fair though, I’m gonna have to try again, and see what I missed the first time..“

The people who work here are great at what they do and really nice. It's really hard to find a good patty melt on rye, and this is one of the best ones in all of LA/Orange. Seasoned fries are so good I eat half of them without even a thought. Places like this are rarer by the year, and Dave's is a gem. Support them often and tip well!“

I ordered the Greek salad with chicken and it was terrific. The salad was huge! The only downside is that the Greek olives had pits, which is the pits. Lots of chicken though and a ton of Feta cheese. Delicious!“
