“Galbi, Corn Cheese, and Soju just make the perfect night out ! Kko Kko Yang is literally the hidden gem for amazing Korean BBQ in Gardena! I can't believe I only found out about this place recently and I've lived in Southbay LA all my life! We got their brisket and galbi which was so tender and delicious. They have so many good sides such as their steamed egg, soybean soup, kimchi pancake, and banchan, and we even ordered some refreshing cold noodles on the side. My favorite part was pouring the corn cheese in the galbi and letting it sizzle on the grill! This place is known for their gopchang, aka intestines, but they have so many unique cuts of meat here to grill! We tried their gopchang, daechang, abomasum and beef heart as well, and the staff really knows how to cook these cuts! Nothing was overly chewy and it's hard to find places that can do this right. Definitely recommend checking them out the next time you want a delicious and different KBBQ experience!“

“Nice little location in the food court, I ordered the bulgogi rice bowl, and it was really good! A little pricey but they do give plenty of food, you won't leave hungry! Will come again when I'm in the area and try something else.“

“I recently visited Palsaik with my girlfriend and her friends, and let me tell you—it was a trip down memory lane! Having lived in Korea about ten years ago, I was thrilled to find this gem right here. Palsaik specializes in eight different flavors of pork belly, and each bite was like a reunion with old friends. The ambiance was cozy, and the aroma of sizzling meat filled the air. Our server was an absolute star—helpful, attentive, and skilled at cooking the meat to perfection. They made sure our dining experience was extraordinary. From the savory garlic flavor to the sweet honey soy, every slice of pork belly transported me back to those bustling Korean barbecue joints. The nostalgia was real, and I couldn’t help but smile between bites.Whether you’re a seasoned Korean food enthusiast or a curious newcomer, Palsaik is a must-visit. The flavors, the service, and the memories—it’s all there. I’m already planning my next visit because, honestly, where else can you find such a delightful pork belly feast?“

“Cat robot servers, a self-serve bar, over 30 selections for Korean BBQ, and it's only $34.99 per person??! I think I may have just found my new favorite KBBQ spot and it's in Torrance!Waiting for the grill to get hot is like the most aggravating few seconds of KBBQ, does anyone else feel me on this?? But the fact that they have yummy apps like baked mussels (my fave!) ready to eat and banchans makes it worth the wait. They've got all your quintessential favorites like jiggly steamed egg and corn cheese, and all the toppings you need to make your perfect bite. Thanks for reading! ^-^“

“To the uninitiated, this place offers the right amount and fare, with quality just being ok, at a location convenient to those that frequent the area. There are other similar places that offer more in terms of selection and quality within a short drive. Service was on the good side and not a concern. Staff was helpful to first time customers. May come back here to avoid the crowd at other places.“

“THE PLACE TO GO AND THE PLACE TO BE!!!We have been visting this place since my wife was pregnant with our beautiful son. Now he is a 5 year old boy who says this restaurant is his absolute favorite restaurant!Definitely try to avoid busy times so that you don’t have to wait! For the first time visitors, this is a no ordinary K-BBQ. Haksan specializes in intestine BBQ. If you never had it, you might feel strange about doing a bbq with intestine. Intestine BBQ is in fact one of the most popular dish in Korea. There are a few well-known intestine BBQ places in Los Angeles county. But I can definitely and proudly can tell you that Haksan is THE best place of all. Their meat quality is beyond expectations even for Koreans from Korea. The amount of food is quite big but very affordable (especially in this terrible economy, fulfilling good quality food with affordable pricing is a gem that you cannot avoid).Customer Service here is phenomenal. The owner lady of this restaurant is caring enough to say hello to every customers, and would even like to talk to you if you wish to ask any quesitons about anything. The most impressive thing is that they pre-cook everything so that you can eat almost right away (except for some meat, they do tell you that you should wait and cook a bit more and then eat).Environment is lively but not loud at all. One of downsides of many korean bbq places is that their music is too loud. Haksan does play music but not loud that it's comfortable. If you go to a Korean restaurant, or any asian restaurant for that matter, the first thing you want to look for is "how many of their own people are visiting" and "how many of older people of their own people are visiting." During busy weekend dinner time, this place is thriving with all ages and ethic groups. In fact, it's very fun just to be there because how happy people are eating there. It's just positive vibe overall!Remember that time when BTS said that one intestine BBQ in k-town is the best. I want them to come to Haksan and see it for themselves.LOVE THIS PLACE and will continue to visit here as long as we can!“

“There are vents that go pretty low so you don't get as much smoke smell on your clothes after the meal.Wait time was good (as a walk-in on Sat night ~8pm).The bonchon selection is quite good - the mat kimchi is fresh but still has the fermentation I expect of good kimchi. Not going to review each one, there was a wide selection and refills on all of them.We got the beef combo, with boneless short ribs. The boneless short ribs were my favorite. They do come by to flip your meat (but don't hover over your shoulder).Jazz started off our service but every waiter was friendly and went out of their way to help! I left a good tip for that.Parking: The parking can be limited because there are so many good food places in the same plaza.“

“Lee's tofu is a small Korean restaurant in Gardena. It is located in a plaza with other restaurants so parking can be a little difficult depending on the day or at night time, however parking is free and for an unlimited amount of time. This restaurant is small but the servers are very friendly. They also have a lot of banchan or sides and are more than happy to give extra. I love getting bibimbap on the hot stone, it is my absolute favorite. I will definitely keep coming back.“

“The location is small but it was an amazing experience. The workers were all super tentative I didn't get a chance to call them over because they came as soon as they saw us slowing down on food. Everything was delicious I highly recommend for a date bight or a nice quiet dinner with a friend“

“First time back since the remodel. Prices have gone up. They used to be like $12 a person but now they are $23.99 a person. Food wise it is still delicious and simple. We always get the brisket, beef bulgogi, and beef belly. Easy and simple choice with rice paper. So, if you are around the Gardena area looking for a quick bite and craving kbbq then Furusato might be a good option for you!! #AndrewApproved ????“

“Definitely a great place to eat. The staff is not very helpful, you have to spend time waving them down in order to get your drinks filled. The quality of the meats are great, the food is good because you cook it yourself. I can definitely say we had our fair share of food, we went away full. It's a very busy place so if you plan to go make sure you leave time to wait before being seated.“

“I enjoy coming here whenever there are only 2 of us eating. Service is fast, good quality meat compared to other kbbq spots they have less variety of sides available, but they have the basic ones. If you want KBBQ without having to wait hours I highly recommend this one.“

“I don't like it anymore and I change the menu a lot to eat shrimp you already have to pay extra and the prices are already very high and they take a long time to serve you and bring things to the table, you have to be asking for a lot of kisses it's not compared to before if they served you good“

“Has become a usual weekend dinner spot , amazing food cooked by amazing people. I have tried almost every cut of meat and they don’t disappoint. The kalbi ribs is my favorite but if you like spicy get the spicy pork. Another fave is the bulgogi and pork belly. They give a good amount of food for the price. Always fresh! Check them out. And support your local small business. See you guys next week!“
