“Was a taqueria I planned for a quick bite but my god was it some of the best food I’ve had. The employee working morning was super sweet and kind. I got an adobada burrito. Typically I am not a fan of spicy sauces but she blended it so well with the burrito. The pork had pieces of skin as well which added more to the flavor. I definitely recommend this place!!!“

“This taco truck was really good for my 1st time. My son took us there. I got a simple bean, cheese, rice burrito w/ sour cream. My daughter got a cheese quesadila &my son got asada tacos. Unfortunately they did forgot to put his mild sauce on them & no hot sauce on the side. We drive from stockton & didn't even check the stuff before heading back, but I will say great tasting food for the price!“

I had the fruit ice cream with mango, strawberry and bananas as fruit options and cookies and cream and cookie dough as ice cream flavours, and my husband had a mangonada, which he said was comparable to our other favourite spot in Lodi! Others have said service was a little slow, but that is only because they make everything fresh and there were so many people!“

“I was pleasantly surprised with the food here and now I know why there’s always at least one customer in line when we drive by! Well, it would’ve been 5 stars if I didn’t get terrible diarrhea after lol! ? I’m always eating spicy and ethnic food too, so it’s safe to say it’s probably this place. Still kinda worth it tho and I want to try it again.

We tried all these for around $20! (cash only btw):
* Carne asada, birria, al pastor tacos
* Al pastor burrito
* Pupusa

My partner didn’t like the way their Al pastor tastes, but luckily I did. Tacos are solid, my favorite was the carne asada! The burrito is hefty. The ingredients were all over the place tbh and it was tough to get through huge patches of only sour cream cheese LOL (not captured in my pics). And sadly a lot of space was taken up by tortilla folds too. But I liked it a lot.

The pupusa was unpleasant to me, but my partner ate it fine. Kinda tastes like a dry tamale. Very different from Cuban pupusas! Came with a little plastic wrap pouch of pickled pepper veggies and stuff.“

“This place is a diamond in the jewel. The service was excellent and quick, although we went at lunch and about 4 tables were occupied, this place should be packed. The food was delicious, good flavors and seasoned just right. Look at the video of the Fajitas coming to the table.
The atmosphere was okay, there were a couple people who looked like they needed a bath walking up and down the street, but they were harmless and the restaurant is safe. Reasonable prices also.“

“10/10 recommend! So glad we tried it. The meat is perfectly seasoned/flavored, cooked and lean. I wish more Mexican food was quality like this! No fat chunks in the asada and it looks and tastes like it's actually grilled (not stewed like other places). Even the toppings tasted and looked fresh, juicy ripe limes and fresh cilantro. Had the asada fries, carnitas burrito and barbacoa tacos. LOVED everything! The space is a little small but most people get food to-go or eat quick and don't sit around so there's tables available.“

“Our waitress Maria was friendly, prompt and courteous. I had the shrimp tostadads along with 2 item combo & they were flavorful & delicious. My son & husband had combo plates consisting of beef enchilada, tamale, taco & a beef tostadada. They enjoyed their dishes.“

“The food here was so delicious!!! As Mexicans, foodies and cooks our standards for good Mexican food are often too high for local food. We travel to Mexico when we want really great Mexican. This place was shockingly good. The mole was authentic- spicy and flavorful. The cemita poblana was big and the meat was perfectly fried. We were the only two people eating at lunch so please come eat here so they stay around for years to come! We will be back for more ?“

“Wow, now this place has amazing chicken. Not only was the food good but the prices are great! Generous portions given and quality food. Must try when you are in Lodi! The whole chicken with rice and beans is a great deal!!!! Staff was warm and welcoming & has a family owned restaurant feel.“

“Grateful this place is near the truck stops. It's always good to be able to get a real meal, and not the standard fast food places truck drivers see all the time. The food was as others have stated, fast, hot, and fresh. Great service. There is literally a bell right up front you can ring if the employees aren't up front when you enter. I say that to refute the 1 star review of another driver who said the place doesn't like truck drivers. I think his name was Karen or something.“

The quality of the meat is better.
The prices are better.
The burrito is massive.
They have asada fries.
And best of all they accept credit/debit card. The convenience of not having to search out an ATM is so understated nowadays.“

I get the Chile relleno+Chile verde burrito most of the time, their chorizo is great too but sold out a lot of the times by 7am because they get a huge rush of workers every morning. “We had an excellent lunch here today. The service was friendly and attentive, and the place is small and homey. We ordered an asada quesadilla, chips and guacamole, a carnitas burrito with white cheese sauce, a carnitas burrito bowl, jamaica agua fresca (one of the best I’ve had - not too sweet!), and flan. The portions were big enough that we both took home half of our meal and everything tasted super fresh. We’ll be back!“
