“There was an event earlier in the morning and I got a coupon for a free 2-pack cinnamon rolls so it was perfect that I was planning to go for dinner that same day! Cinnamon rolls were yummy and I love the fact that the icing comes separate since I’m not the biggest fan of sugary icing. I tried a different dish, Pasta primavera and added grilled chicken. This was good and would recommend it. Their side salad was yummy, had all the good toppings and at the end, my family ordered peach pie and sadly they ran out! This is a seasonal item so they were very disappointed. But it just goes to show you that it’s popular and to reserve it once you get seated because my family actually called ahead and asked if it was available and it was but after we ate, they sold out!“

I found this fabulous bakery and selected them, as I loved their story l, plus they have a 5 star rating. They were so amazing to work with and did exactly what they promised. They followed up quickly and even had it delivered to the hotel along with information and pictures on who they left it with for her birthday. “It is so hard to find really tasty gluten and dairy free treats, and Moonbird knocks it out of the park every time! I always spend far too much money at the farmer's market on tahini chocolate chip cookies, banana bread... I've even splurged and ordered a custom birthday cake in their Magic Chocolate Cake flavor for this weekend. I am so pleased that it will meet ALL the dietary restrictions of my guests! Big thanks to Dafna for all she does, love all the treats, can't wait to try the custom cake!!!

“Where do I even begin? We have always had nothing but the very best experience at Hapa! Friendly customer service, and high-quality treats! Their banana pudding and chocolate pudding are my absolute favorites! Like they are DANGEROUSLY good!! I may or may not hide them from my kids! I also love their new brownie edges!! My mom‘s favorite is their sprinkle cookies, to the extent that she will make a special trip to Hapa anytime she’s in town to get herself some! At this point, I just have them ready and waiting for her! The variety of items and flavors that they provide is also incredible! 10 out of 10! Hundred percent recommend! As for their shop, they have done so much to update their storefront! It is so cute and inviting! Beautiful, clean displays and the perfect backdrop for that must-have selfie for socials! “I first tried the classic alfajores from Sweet Andes when my husband and I were taste testing for our wedding earlier this year. Ever since I tried Peruvian-style alfajores as a teen, I knew I wanted alfajores for our big day. My parents are from Mexico and I know Mexican wedding cookies exist but I enjoy alfajores much better. I have tried plenty of alfajores over the course of several years trying to find the exact taste from when I had them as a teen, but did not have much luck. I was so happy when I found Sweet Andes and read on their website that they follow a Peruvian recipe! We immediately placed an order and I finally found the taste from many moons ago! We ordered 200 classic alfajores for our wedding in August 2024. Each guest received one and we had 40 left over — all of which were gone before dinner was served! Our guests really enjoyed them. Sweet Andes is now my go-to Alfajores spot!! It is also very easy to place an order and they have fast + friendly communication.“

“I went to a new chè place last night and was disappointed. New doesn’t always mean better. So this morning we had to go check out the OG of all bakery and chè place that my aunt keeps talking about.

Boy oh boy, their avocado drink is literally the best in town. You get the rich and creamy fresh avocado not the powder mix. Had so many avocado chunks and jelly. They made it fresh. Not so sweet.

We also got a few of the cupcake size desserts like the steamed layer cake, baked taro cake, salted egg sponge cake, and pate chaud.

It’s so convenient in cupcake size to snack. $1.50 each or 4 for $6 which isn’t a deal when it comes out the same. You can increase the size on most of these items. You can order party trays of up to 80 pieces or more.

Even the pate chaud is tiny but delicious. It was evenly proportional in meat and pastry.

“I visited from San Diego with my mom and we tried several bakeries during our trip. The Moses bread was our favorite. It seems to be a small family-run business that bakes bread based on online orders. Their sourdough is definitely fresh and beautifully made with care and passion. I highly recommend trying their bread—just be sure to reserve online before walking in! I am definitely coming back when I visit OC again“

“We stopped by after dinner around 8pm on a Friday and found a nice crowd already gathered! Churros are made fresh in their food truck, and you place your order at the stand next to it.

They usually accept cards, but their Square reader was down during our visit, so we made a quick run to the CVS across the street for cash. The prices are incredibly affordable, and for a group of four, we ordered 10 churros, 2 dipping sauces, and a buñuelo.

Everything came out warm, fresh, and absolutely delicious. I wish I had taken a photo of the churros, but we devoured it all before I even thought to reach for my phone—definitely check out other reviewers' pics!“

“The Cookie Plug is the perfect spot for when your cookie cravings are beyond the ordinary. Their unique, oversized cookies are incredibly flavorful and have a perfect, soft texture. I tried the Purple Haze—a delicious purple cookie with a yummy velvet cake flavor. The cookies are large enough to easily share. The only thing to consider before visiting is the price; a box of assorted cookies can be a bit expensive, and ours was over $30. The staff member that helped us pick the cookies was friendly. You could also by drinks and other random merch such as shirts. A good pit stop before or after the Angel game.“
