“Michelin-Level Experience at Outback Prices The Wild Artichoke in Yorba Linda is a hidden gem. I was expecting something entirely different — and was pleasantly surprised in the best possible way. We started with the smashed potatoes and endive salad, which made for perfect appetizers: light enough not to spoil our appetite, yet full of flavor to whet it. The portions were ideal for sharing with my wife. For our main courses, we ordered from the lunch menu. I had the Wagyu burger, and my wife went with the tempura fish and chips. I’m not sure how they did it, but every bite was incredibly well-balanced. The fish had a crispy exterior, just the right touch of Maldon salt, and a beautifully firm, flaky interior. The tartar sauce was exceptional — rich, creamy, and unlike any I’ve had before. The burger was a standout. Each ingredient was distinct and purposeful — no unnecessary fillers. Every component worked in harmony to deliver deep, layered flavors in every bite. We ended the meal with the Basque cheesecake, which was beautifully presented. It wasn’t overly sweet, and the perfectly burnt top paired wonderfully with the sweet berry compote. A special treat was getting to meet the head chef. What a pleasant surprise. He shared the story behind one of his dishes and mentioned that every item on the menu has its own story and purpose. That passion really comes through in the food. I’ve dined at many fine restaurants, and I can confidently say the quality here rivals places charging $150–$200 per plate. The value is extraordinary for the caliber of cuisine offered. This is a truly special hidden gem — perfect for a relaxed lunch with friends or an intimate dinner date. I can’t wait to try the rest of their menu!“

“As one of the only gluten free restaurants anywhere, we in Yorba Linda are so fortunate to have the exemplary Oceans and Earth locally. Even if you are not concerned about gluten this restaurant is absolute perfection. The food, the ambiance, the staff and especially the wonderful chef present an experience not to be missed. It is our favorite restaurant!“

With a few more details,
I have been there a few times now and it’s always been a fantastic experience. The downstairs is nice and has a bar and the patio upstairs is fantastic especially that both levels have massive screens to watch sporting events AND alcoholic beverages. Very clean place. Close to the movie theater and Yorba Linda town center so you can grub here then watch a movie right next door.
Service has been great. Staff is very friendly.
Reasonably priced for a nice atmosphere.
The food has been delicious on every occasion. Chicken strips very juicy and chunky unlike some other chicken places. Original is not that spicy but has a fantastic flavor so if you want more heat make sure to order something hotter than the original. Also, the fries are fantastic. Try them cooked well done. Crunchy outside yummy inside.

“My daughter and I ate there yesterday for the first time! The chicken was very tender and tasty… I recommend the chicken club sandwich. My daughter got the Cobb salad and the portion was huge! Their specialty lemonades are really good too! I tried the strawberry and basil! Yum!“

“Oh my god. It was so good. I was craving a burger and I can’t eat gluten or dairy and holy crap…YUM! I hadn’t had a good burger like that in a long time. It’s hard to match the taste of a regular burger when you don’t have a gluten bun or dairy but they did a good job. Now, we did order a second time and it wasn’t as good then. Someone else must have made it but it still hit the spot. I always want another burger afterward. 😋“

“The atmosphere was vibrant and enjoyable. The food was satisfactory but had room for improvement. The chicken club sandwich was flavorful, though the chicken breast was significantly smaller than the bread. It would be better to either resize the bread or enhance the portion of chicken. Our server was capable and attentive; however, he rushed us to close out at the end of our meal because he was finishing his shift, which was a bit off-putting. Despite this minor inconvenience, I still had a pleasant visit and would definitely return.“

Big fat ZERO for the manager who was too busy flirting with the hostesses to care that guests who were told the wait was 20 minutes were still waiting after 50 minutes and we would have gone elsewhere if they gave a crap and told us it would be a long wait. So... Once we finally got seated after almost an hour's wait, Philip saved the night with great service and attentiveness. (It was a birthday for my friend, and I told the hoelstesses, but the front desk didn't tell the server about the birthday so no birthday dessert for my friend) 😞

The hostess service and manager really could have been better. At one point there was a group of 5 or 6 employees (including the manager) at the front hostess station with a CROWD of waiting guests. It was not a good look because it looked like they were loafing around while guests were waiting and waiting and waiting. They didn't offer us an alternative seating location (outside) after we had been waiting double the time they said the wait was. Not sure I'll be back for a little while ... They wasted my time and I didn't like the lack of care or communication.“

“We stopped in from Ohio and ate, and it was the best chicken parm we have ever had. We got the chicken parmesian poutine and the Philly cheese steak sandwich and split it, and there was more than enough for two people. I would definately return here.“

“Came here to catch today's 49ers game, we grabbed a nice both by the bar, and ordered way too much food because I skipped breakfast. This isn't my first time here, and I've never had a bad meal here! Their wings, nachos, and crispy chicken sandwich are huge and very tasty. The service was impeccable, the staff is very attentive.
And may I recommend their house Red Ale if you like a good Red Ale. He didn't tell me the name, sorry!!! The atmosphere was chill, football fans from every team just chillin' with great food and great drinks!!!“

Our favorites included the handmade pasta stuffed with short rib and the lamb chops, which were altogether astounding at just how tender, non-gamey and delectable they were. The desserts were like little streams of consciousness entering your mouth with every bite. The Kouign-Amann was the best pastry we've had since visiting France.

“I couldn’t wait to share our experience at Benchmark restaurant in Santa Ana California. Everything about this place is perfection! It was a hot day, but the beautiful outdoor dining area was cool and breezy underneath the beautiful trees. Our waitress was knowledgeable, wonderfully friendly, and attended to all our needs. Each of us ordered a different item on the menu and I had to taste everything. I had the Spanish omelette, which was delicious, the burger seems like a very popular item understandably because that along with the delicious fries was exceptional. Enchiladas with mole were a wonderful treat, and the French toast was probably the hit of the table. This wonderful brunch dish was not exceptionally sweet, which made it so perfect. Some places just overdo it with the sweetness. We will definitely be going back many times to tryout dinners and more of the selections on all of the menus. “We just happened across MBC while visiting Fullerton. What a Gem of a place. Food and service were exceptional. It was so good we had breakfast two days in a row. First trip my husband I shared the breakfast tacos and Carmel macchiatos. Next day we shared a breakfast bowl and macchiatos. Whenever we are close we will eat here. We also bought a bag of coffee and a bottle of spice.“
