“Michelin-Level Experience at Outback Prices The Wild Artichoke in Yorba Linda is a hidden gem. I was expecting something entirely different — and was pleasantly surprised in the best possible way. We started with the smashed potatoes and endive salad, which made for perfect appetizers: light enough not to spoil our appetite, yet full of flavor to whet it. The portions were ideal for sharing with my wife. For our main courses, we ordered from the lunch menu. I had the Wagyu burger, and my wife went with the tempura fish and chips. I’m not sure how they did it, but every bite was incredibly well-balanced. The fish had a crispy exterior, just the right touch of Maldon salt, and a beautifully firm, flaky interior. The tartar sauce was exceptional — rich, creamy, and unlike any I’ve had before. The burger was a standout. Each ingredient was distinct and purposeful — no unnecessary fillers. Every component worked in harmony to deliver deep, layered flavors in every bite. We ended the meal with the Basque cheesecake, which was beautifully presented. It wasn’t overly sweet, and the perfectly burnt top paired wonderfully with the sweet berry compote. A special treat was getting to meet the head chef. What a pleasant surprise. He shared the story behind one of his dishes and mentioned that every item on the menu has its own story and purpose. That passion really comes through in the food. I’ve dined at many fine restaurants, and I can confidently say the quality here rivals places charging $150–$200 per plate. The value is extraordinary for the caliber of cuisine offered. This is a truly special hidden gem — perfect for a relaxed lunch with friends or an intimate dinner date. I can’t wait to try the rest of their menu!“

I have been there a few times now and it’s always been a fantastic experience. The downstairs is nice and has a bar and the patio upstairs is fantastic especially that both levels have massive screens to watch sporting events AND alcoholic beverages. Very clean place. Close to the movie theater and Yorba Linda town center so you can grub here then watch a movie right next door.
Service has been great. Staff is very friendly.
Reasonably priced for a nice atmosphere.
The food has been delicious on every occasion. Chicken strips very juicy and chunky unlike some other chicken places. Original is not that spicy but has a fantastic flavor so if you want more heat make sure to order something hotter than the original. Also, the fries are fantastic. Try them cooked well done. Crunchy outside yummy inside.
Definitely recommended spot right off imperial highway and YL towncenter.“

The chicken club sandwich was flavorful, though the chicken breast was significantly smaller than the bread. It would be better to either resize the bread or enhance the portion of chicken. Our server was capable and attentive; however, he rushed us to close out at the end of our meal because he was finishing his shift, which was a bit off-putting. Despite this minor inconvenience, I still had a pleasant visit and would definitely return.“

“We stopped in from Ohio and ate, and it was the best chicken parm we have ever had. We got the chicken parmesian poutine and the Philly cheese steak sandwich and split it, and there was more than enough for two people. I would definately return here.“

“Had a great experience with Dragon Dogs 2 weeks ago at the Anaheim Convention Center. Lorraine was friendly and kind. The portions were generous and everything was delicious. I highly recommend the carne asada dog and the chorizo fries. Though I'm not local, I'll make a point to seek them out the next time I'm in town.“

Our favorites included the handmade pasta stuffed with short rib and the lamb chops, which were altogether astounding at just how tender, non-gamey and delectable they were. The desserts were like little streams of consciousness entering your mouth with every bite. The Kouign-Amann was the best pastry we've had since visiting France.

This intimate 18-seater restaurant gives you direct access to speak with the chefs and watch some of the kitchen magic. The wine parings are on point. The atmosphere is inviting and enthralling. The standout - banana nana pancakes - wow these are amazing ! Piping hot deliciousness. Pancakes smothered in sliced banana and a syrupy sauce. So good you have to try and it’s huge!

The lot so great - biscuit and gravy. Biscuit not fluffy or moist. Very dry. Gravy pretty good.

“My wife and I found this place by accident and I’m very glad we did. The decor and atmosphere is very attractive. They have a wide variety of food and drinks. The food is very tasty and the prices are not extreme. Our server, Elena, sorry if I misspelled her name, was so nice and attentive. An added plus is that it is literally right next to the train station-tracks. So you can enjoy, relax and wait for your train. The BLTA is an awesome sandwich. My wife had the patty melt and she enjoyed it very much.“

“I couldn’t wait to share our experience at Benchmark restaurant in Santa Ana California. Everything about this place is perfection! It was a hot day, but the beautiful outdoor dining area was cool and breezy underneath the beautiful trees. Our waitress was knowledgeable, wonderfully friendly, and attended to all our needs. Each of us ordered a different item on the menu and I had to taste everything. I had the Spanish omelette, which was delicious, the burger seems like a very popular item understandably because that along with the delicious fries was exceptional. Enchiladas with mole were a wonderful treat, and the French toast was probably the hit of the table. This wonderful brunch dish was not exceptionally sweet, which made it so perfect. Some places just overdo it with the sweetness. We will definitely be going back many times to tryout dinners and more of the selections on all of the menus. “I go pretty frequently here for Trivia Nights. The staff is amazing and does very well to get everyone’s order out with so little employees. Greg is the best! He knows EVERYONES orders but always double checks that that’s what we want before bringing it out to us. The rest of the staff is always so nice and friendly.“

If you're going to get a specialty cocktail, the Smoky Sparrow was really smooth and the aromatics were wonderful.
