Vegetarian options: Plates can be modified just ask the server. Coffee is a upsurge for adding oat milk or almond milk.

Parking: Rectangular parking lot. The restaurant blends in with the other buildings in the parking lot. On your first visit here, it can feel a bit confusing. Upon entering the driveway, park to the left.

Kid-friendliness: Ask for kids menu, plenty of tables to eat outside the restaurant.“

“I forgot the name of our male server ..gave us outstanding service ..very attentive, all I remember was he had curly hair and was going to medical school. An amazing human being it's so nice to see a young person with so much ambition. Hopefully, he will be rewarded for all his hard work.“

“Took the family out to Black Horse for a meal where I thought it would be a lovely atmosphere. Instead the football game was blasting loud and everyone looked disappointed while watching the game. It was difficult to have a conversation because the TVs were so loud. We started with an order of Irish nachos which weren’t more than warm. I ordered the classic burger and when it was delivered everyone at the table thought the server said the plastic burger so that was pretty funny. It was incredibly salty and the cheese only covered half the patty. Others ordered the Caesar salad, the chicken sandwich, and the pork schnitzel which came with veggies. Nothing was hot and the veggies were cold, completely undercooked from whatever frozen state they started in. Overall it was a bit disappointing not to have a new place to go with the family as this was at a good midway point for everyone in the group coming from different cities. I would say this is a great place if you want to watch the football game and tune out. I saw kids laying in the booth playing on their iPads while parents enjoyed the game. It’s chill, no frills.

Parking: Park on the Burger King side since no one goes there, it’s easier to find a spot.“

“Had appetizers, and drinks at the bar. It was packed, but service did not waver. When evrryone in our party had arrived, we asked to move into the dining room. After closing out our tab, we were graciously moved into the dining room where we ordered the deviled eggs and pondered which bottle of wine we would drink. We arrived around 4 and spent the time catching up, eating, drinking, and enjoying the atmosphere till about 8 p.m. We didn't get rushed along nor did we get any sideway glances for being at the table so long. The places was a great place to spend time with family and relax after a week of working.

Vegetarian options: There is enough options here to make a meal. Salads, baked potatoes, and a jalapeño popper type dish that can be vegetarian if request the bacon kept off the dish. They offer broccolini, cauliflower, and other fried vegetables. These looked very good as they passed by our table to others ables around us.“

They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. “A friend and I had the best Thanksgiving meal. We were seated in the patio on the most beautiful day! The service was great. The staff was very friendly and the manager even took the time to answer all our questions about the 5 acre farm on the property that suppliesd the kitchen with the vegetables picked just that morning for most of the gourmet dishes cooked up for the day. What a special treat it was to experience McKinley 's Grille for Thanksgiving 2021. Well be back for more!“

It was a euphoric experience eating The Wild Artichoke’s mussel appetizer selection consisting of the juicy mollusk simmered in delicious a white wine sauce. And it was similarly satisfying to partake in the rich and fresh squid ink lobster pasta.

You don’t often expect to encounter a Michelin-level restaurant (nonetheless an affordable one) out of happenstance, but when the opportunity arises, the experience is truly something to behold. Restaurants like The Wild Artichoke stand the test of time when curious foot traffickers become adoring regulars because of the culinary genius and intentional service that lies at the foundation of the establishment.

“My husband, my 17- month- old, and I love to come for dinner frequently. On the weekends they tend to have live music and the drinks and food are always delicious. Last night my 17 month old was very excited and screaming with joy occasionally.

Our server was absolutely the best. She was patient, kind and professional. She assisted us with moving my son outside as we did not want to impede on anyone’s dinner indoors. She was very thoughtful and mentioned the spicy ingredients that were in the food we ordered so that my son would be able to eat them. She even brought out non spicy corn bread without us asking. She made our dinner so enjoyable. We will absolutely be coming back.“

I've now forgotten the wheat ale I ordered, but it was local and it was good. The brisket sandwich I ordered was outstanding. We must have hit the bartender at a bad moment because when we arrived he didn't seem too keen on our arrival. When I asked what beer was new or something he could recommend, he kind of blew me off. Thought it kind of odd. But, he did come around and grew pretty chill as our lunch progressed. Chalk it up to a bad moment that I don't think had anything to do with us. All in all, I like the Rookery; hanging out on the back patio with a microbrew and a sandwich was exactly what I was looking for.“

“The service here was top-tier. Everyone is super friendly and it looks like a fun work environment because everyone actually looked happy ? we reserved a table outside for our +1 pup that was with us and when we arrived they had a water bowl and a dog menu for him- such a cute touch!
The food was amazing- a pastrami sandwich for me, the carnitas egg Benedict for my boyfriend and the beef and egg bowl for the pups, with a side of peanut butter of course! The food arrived FAST. Under 10 minutes to receive it- it was hot, great portions, fresh and amazing flavor!
The michelada mix was good too- something I have found is hard to come by when eating out. The boyfriend had the Irish coffee which he also enjoyed.
Overall great experience. It was a bit pricey at $90 for our meals, the 2 drinks and tip included but you definitely get what you pay for! 10/10 would recommend. Thank you VR!“

“Signed my name on to wait list at 11:11am on a Sunday, got called in at 11:16am.....food served at 11:43. Ordered the regular pancake breakfast, but got the Chicken Andouille sausage instead of traditional bacon or sausage patty and a chai tea latte. The pancakes were possibly the best I've ever had. They were very fluffy and had some a home-like biscuit flavor. Absolutely delicious. Eggs and sausage were absolutely great, but the star were the pancakes for sure! Servers were attentive, atmosphere was busy. Will be coming back again.“

Will have to go back to really get a feel of the place. We had wings there they were a little on the salty side, but extra crispy just the way I like them.“

“Great location in Pomona. Cool sports type bar/restaurant with excellent service and food. Menu is everything from great appitizers to full meals. We were there for a business happy hour meeting and had jalapeno sliders yet I will be back for those and other menu options including the tacos which looked fantastic.Our server at the bar was great. Knowledgeable on all the beer offerings on tap which there are many. Clean and friendly place that I recommend and will return to.“

My wife had the milk fish rice bowl while I had the Chicken Adobo rice bowl. We both shared the Pork Belly Fries, and we really recommend it! It was the best item on the menu. “This place just changed the name used to be called Emilio. The services was great, and the pupusa were very delicious. Prices were decent. I like the painting they have done to the walls of all the famous artists.
