“What a lovely surprise! This unassuming establishment is a typical Mexican bakery where you take your tray and tongs and select your own pan dulce! I came in early in the morning, picked out a few items and, as the owner was ringing me up, I noticed they only take cash. As I legitimately didn't have any cash on me, I told her to stop bagging up my treats as I didn't have any cash. "No worries!" she said. "I'm the owner and I will give these to you. That way, you'll go home, you'll taste it and like it, and you'll come back." I was shocked by the generosity and genuineness. So refreshing, and the pan dulce was yummy too. 5 stars for a great bakery with a kind owner and exceptional customer service.“

“Very busy place for breakfast so as soon as you arrive put your name on the list, although it is quick to go to the table or you can eat at the bar, where in my experience it was faster. Having little staff to take care of several tables, they do their job but neglect small details such as taking time to serve coffee or placing your order. The food is generally abundant and rich, not delicious, but it is a pleasant place in town where they stop before starting a tasting in the vineyards. The muffins are made daily and are served with margarine, in my taste butter would be better but it is personal.“

The avo toast is no different; changing from season to season. We got ours with the perfect seasoning and tons of tomatoes sourced right from the vine outside. It was incredible. “Super moist cupcakes located in the Napa Oxbow Market. My sister in law pre ordered 2 dozen mini cupcakes for my nephews birthday. I easily picked them up and picked up some regular sized ones-- they really are super moist. We got all of the assorted chocolate and vanilla flavors, there was a passion fruit, banana caramel, and Meyer lemon. Good sweet treat while you're in the area too! Service is super quick and friendly. Small storefront in the food court. There's a parking lot and some street parking.“

“We wanted to come by for the restaurant but it was closed so we ended up coming to the cafe instead. You walk through what looks like a gift shop to get through it and it's run by students. The menu is a bit limited but nice that you look at the display in order to see what they have instead of a traditional paper menu.We ended up ordering the chicken sandwich, farmers salad, flat bread, strawberry tart, and a pumpkin latte (seasonal). The sandwich and salad were both excellent but the flatbread was a bit thick and chewy and thought both the tart and latte were good. The tart shell was a bit tough to bite through but the flavor was good and the latte was just missing something, maybe some nutmeg or something that would have made it pop a bit more.“
