“Considering this is a French chef's bakery, I expected some more chocolate stuff (pastries, maybe?), but while there are tons of croissants and macaroons, there is surprisingly no confectionary. Sad. We tried the pistachio éclair which was delicious and the mocha which was great, but not exceptionally different from what you could get anywhere. Long lines outside so took us 15min to get in, 2 min to order and another 5min to collect. You can't eat inside, just use the benches outside of the weather permits. Luckily we had a sunny afternoon on Dec 30th. All in all, I'm not sure what the hype is about, just folks following the sheep, I guess. If you give it a pass, you wouldn't have missed anything. Not in Napa, not in Yountville, not in any big city.

“Very busy place for breakfast so as soon as you arrive put your name on the list, although it is quick to go to the table or you can eat at the bar, where in my experience it was faster. Having little staff to take care of several tables, they do their job but neglect small details such as taking time to serve coffee or placing your order. The food is generally abundant and rich, not delicious, but it is a pleasant place in town where they stop before starting a tasting in the vineyards. The muffins are made daily and are served with margarine, in my taste butter would be better but it is personal.“

“What a lovely surprise! This unassuming establishment is a typical Mexican bakery where you take your tray and tongs and select your own pan dulce! I came in early in the morning, picked out a few items and, as the owner was ringing me up, I noticed they only take cash. As I legitimately didn't have any cash on me, I told her to stop bagging up my treats as I didn't have any cash. "No worries!" she said. "I'm the owner and I will give these to you. That way, you'll go home, you'll taste it and like it, and you'll come back." I was shocked by the generosity and genuineness. So refreshing, and the pan dulce was yummy too. 5 stars for a great bakery with a kind owner and exceptional customer service.“

On Google maps it shows they close at 4:30pm but the staff closed the doors at 4 and informed us we had to leave. When I mentioned that they should then correct the time info on google because it is confusing. The girl who worked as a cashier and seemed to be the manager too was very straight forward and not polite.
In general the bakery was fine. They got good coffee and pastries.“
