Today we are learning about Las Potrancas. I have been to a lot of Mexican food places, this place is most excellent. It has regular or jumbo sized breakfast burritos, depending on your appetite. They smother it with excellent green chili. It's hot, spicy and makes you sweat with each bite. They garnish it with the coolness of lettuce and tomato. Let's not forget cheese omg 😳😯 cheese is melted and all these flavors blend together so nicely.

Happy hour is splendid as well. Nice drinks and hot foods for your wonderful evenings. Come check this place out folks! You can't go wrong here with this delicious Mexican food.“

“This place is out of this world!!! Unbelievable fresh seafood, and the fried and fresh oysters were phenomenal! We got there at happy hour and ordered a bunch of stuff, and it was so good, we then ordered dinner too! Stuffed, but not weird greasy cheeseburger stuffed, happy stuffed! Dior was the man too! Super fun to chat with about the food and life in general! I will be running, not walking back to this fine establishment!! Way to go guys, keep up the great work!!“

“Place was very slow during lunch; came for a birthday celebration and while our server was amazing (she worked out all of my dietary needs and with the bar tender for a great mocktail!), the steak temperatures were very disappointing. They did however work to correct our meals in a swift manner.“

“We celebrated my niece's daughter graduation at this place. Yes, you can also rent the place for your special events.
The owner went far and beyond to make sure the guests had a great time. He was friendly and served really delicious drinks.
The buffet style dinner was tacos, two different kinds of quesadillas, chips, and salsa.
We danced and had a great time.
The people at this event had a great time.
The food, music, and service at this restaurant were excellent.
We couldn't choose a better place for our special event.

“Everything was amazing! Got the new Wicked themed alcoholic drinks & both were delicious. The 1lb crab was so good, I got garlic herb potatoes & steamed asparagus as sides, no complaints I tore it all up. We got the Bang Bang shrimp as an appetizer & it was so delicious, would come back when I’m back in town. The last things I got for dessert was the chocolate crème brûlée and omgggg that’s my new favorite dessert!!! However their dessert alcoholic beverages were very bitter to me (espresso and chocolate) but they gave me an extra cup of cream which made it easier to drink so other then those last drinks everything was perfect and my family and I loved it!“

“Since was in the area decided to give it a try? This time with 30 min prior to closing. I stood at the door for a while and even though 2 staff me.bers saw me didn't ask if needed to be seated. I can understand were cleaning getting ready for the holidays however customer service and attentiveness is essential.

I finally decided to ask if they were still serving and exclaimed though I was waiting for other customers bit was promptly sat down at a table. I quickly ordered as even if I'm dining in last minute I'm fairly quick eater and if not I'll help myself out before closing time anyways. I paid about 5 minute prior. I ordered shrimp .medium spice with the Cajun seasoning. The spice was a bit more than medium I would say for most. I can eat spicy but glad didnt order hot "pro". It's not that it was super spicy but because it is powder shilli and some parts are still dry it will make you cough a little. Anyways the shrimp was cooked Perfect nice size shrimp and bieve the proper amount for 1 lb. I added potato $1, corn $1 , sausage $4.99 and side of rice $3.50
Totsl came up to $32-$33 w tax.

While the price was not bad my only concern is the lack of options of purchasing 1/2. So you can actually try various types of seafood without having to spend $70+. While the food was tasty I would have to consider vising again for that reason alone.

Catfish was all breading. Large portion though! It tasted ok but more catfish than crunch would have been better.

“We’ve been several times and they never disappoint. Went for New Year’s Eve with a group of 6. To start, the bar staff is amazing. You have to try a Stoli Doli if you enjoy a cocktail. It was understandably busy, and they were a half hour late with our table. The hostess comped a full round of drinks for the inconvenience. That was super nice of them and really had us looking forward to dinner. Most of the table had filets and they were perfect. All sides are excellent, I am especially fond of the Parmesan truffle fries. Service was top notch as it always is. Cannot recommend this place enough, they truly care about you enjoying your meal.“

“This place is so comforting and nice. The plants and fish being an atmosphere that just relaxes me and lets me eat comfortably. The food here is very tasty, in fact, too darn delicious. “We came in to try the crawfish boil with the Asian sauce. We were not disappointed! Decent sized pieces and so much sauce. We will be ordering that again. But we also ordered the fried rice but it was pretty basic standard. Definitely recommend coming for the seafood boils. And come early! This place was packed and busy on a Sunday night“
