We are pretty picky about Asian food in Colorado but we absolutely loved this place. I was kind of excited when I saw the menu because they have everything from sushi to pho to ramen to pad Thai and everything in between. We will definitely be coming back here to try more food out on the menu. My boyfriend got the fried rice and Mongolian beef and absolutely loved it. A little bit Chinese, a little bit Japanese and a little bit Korean sums up K'Gen Asian Cuisine. You get the best of Asia in a restaurant that boasts great service and straight forward appetizers and entrees. Nights can be slow but regardless I would still recommend reservations to be on the safe side. The family that runs this restaurant is polite, down to earth and sense of urgency is definitely there. As far as cuisines, it is different in style and flavor and not in a bad way; just different from my palette. I will say the sushi is delicious here and the ambiance is welcoming and modern! Great place for get together a with friends. Highly recommend sitting at sushi bar.
