This is food made from the heart. It's warm and comforting. I've NEVER had flavors like these anywhere else. I eat here once a week and drive over 40 min. Absolutely worth it. They have tons of vegetarian options too!
Highly recommended! delicious! Forget the bad reviews. This is one of the last bastions of legit LEGIT homestyle Chinese/ Taiwanese food. Lurou fan braised pork rice? some. Fried noodles? have! Red oil copycat? Authentic and delicious!This is a no frills Chinese diner style ambiance. Ms. Wang was so hospitable, friendly and generous. she let us sample their Sichuan spicy wontons. I’ve been a regular at Flower Pepper for about a year now, and whenever I stop by, I always have an excellent experience! The staff here are so kind, welcoming, and attentive. The food is delicious and consistent! I 100% recommend.
