“I ordered a mango lassi and a pair of their samosas for a quick bite. Needless to say, I was in love with them. The lassi was smooth and not too sweet, and the biryani rice in the samosas were cooked to perfection. 5/5 would eat here again!“

Dinner with an old friend from Boulder while visiting from out of town. One of his favorite spots.
1. Food - really good, but not quite five stars. With the variety of options available in Boulder, the bar is high. Flavors were good, food was fresh, but the medium spice wasn’t spiced and the lamb saag was excessively oily.
2. Service was warm and generous. Best part of the visit.
3. Give the options for dining in Boulder, I think Gurkhas could elevate their position by decluttering their space and raising the bar on simple elegance. Elevated need not be expensive or pretentious.
4. Price - matched well for the quality and service
Overall, a great meal. Would recommend.“

Other reviewers are correct on the heat level. Medium is HOT 🔥. Staff were very observant and kindly brought us yogurt when they saw we were struggling 😂“

“Absolutely amazing! The place is beautiful and staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. I love that you get a lot of food as well for the price. It’s definitely not like other expensive restaurants and you only get a small amount of food. I am definitely going back.🥰“

“This place does so much with very little. The minimal staff is always attentive. The interior is quaint and clean. The photos and decor inspire a feeling of travel and wonder. The food is magnificent and so reasonably priced it feel like the best kept secret in Boulder.“
