I had to come back and edit my original review of “Gets my order correct most of the time” to give credit where credit is more than due. Thank you Darlene, your customer service skills are outstanding!!
I gave this review 5 stars ONLY because YOU deserve it. After sitting there for almost an hour for fries, drinks and cookies you took care of it perfectly. To the white guy who just told us to pull up and left us sitting there waiting on our food and forgot about...read full review

McDonald's in Colorado Springs has received mixed reviews. The restaurant is open 24/7, making it convenient for late-night snacks or meals. Many customers have praised the food for being hot and fresh, with some noting that their orders, like cheeseburgers, were perfectly made with extra onions as requested. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, especially when resolving issues such as remaking orders promptly. The restaurant is clean, kid-friendly, and wheelchair accessible with several handicapped spots.
However, there have been some concerns. One customer mentioned that the fries are often overcooked and greasy, and the inside can be greasy and sometimes too hot. Some customers have noted that employees at the counter may ignore customers, especially since AI ordering kiosks are now in use, which seems to reduce personal customer service. There are also occasional problems with equipment, such as the frappe machine, which is cleaned every Thursday at 6:00 a.m., causing delays during breakfast hours and frustration with unhelpful staff.
Despite these issues, many visitors find this McDonald's to be one of the best in the area, especially for late-night food. The restaurant offers hot, fresh food with friendly service, and it is well-maintained and clean. It is a good stop if traveling through Castle Rock or nearby, providing a memorable and enjoyable experience.
