“When we arrived we had a 5 minute wait; as we were sitting a server entered and began their shift full of energy. His name was Tyler and ended up actually being our server for the evening. He made our dinner extra special and was very personalble and attentive. Tyler's exceptional service should be recognized and his table service used as an example for others.“

“First time here! The food was amazing and our service was just right. The ambiance was clean and corky (it's not romantic and bougie- if that's what you're looking for). We ordered the: ceviche, ahi poke, halibut, mussels, king crab and shrimp fettuccine. Everyone loved their food!“

I'm from Savannah GA the low country of GA nothing but swamps marshes beaches etc.. nothing compares to seafood down south . n I can get more food for way cheaper. it's pricey for the low portions n the fries taste cheap for $20 at least make homemade fries n use more toppings on the lobster fries the fish I didn't care for either . it's better food than most in Colorado springs but do take your prices down it don't cost that much to make y'all make I promise you I been in the kitchen since I was 12 but this is Colorado .“

“Classic oyster bar with a fun atmosphere (crayons and a paper table top?) and top notch food. I wanted to cry happy tears when I tasted the raw oysters. It was so delicious and was just the pick me up I needed today. Our waiter was also such a delight and lifted my spirits the moment we walked in.“

I appreciated that when I said no hush puppies, they offered breadsticks instead—a thoughtful touch I haven’t experienced at other locations. It really makes me feel like I’m getting the full value of my meal. Before, I would just toss the hush puppies, but now, thanks to Captain D’s, I can enjoy my meal without waste. “Heya so I wondered in here and man the food is good ! The owner.. I think I talked to the owner / Chef . Very intense, big accent . No disrespect but I have a hearing problem and the place is loud ! Like no joke ! It’s expensive so I would assume their clients are a bit older, so loud heavy accent, Intense! the dude is obviously passionate, but man! Odd choice.. w the loud music and super intense presentation. again the food ! Crazy goood the soup to die for etc.

Maybe someone wants this presentation, but it was a bit much for us .“

“We just ordered a pretty large pick up order for Caldo Rez, Birria (shredded beef, not goat) tacos, barbacoa street tacos, a smothered burrito, and some sides and oh my goodness is this place worth it!!!!

All the homemade salsas, consommé is exactly as it should be. The broth for the Caldo Rez.. i could drink alone.
Cannot wait to try the pazole! My husband said his pickup was wonderful. Thank you Maria’s taco shop for some traditional food!“

“Went for Valetines day and was very disappointed. We booked with the manager herself and was told if we did not show we would be charged. We arrived and had to wait 90 plus minutes and they cared less. Beware they added a 3% mandatory hospitality fee and a 20% mandatory gratuity. All in all, they persuaded us not to return. 100% focus seemed to be on the business thier profits and minimal to us the patrons. We cued in the waiting area with others who also seemed to be waiting like us for thier over selling.“

“Was a bit of a trick to find (is hidden in the corner of the buildings), but the food was spot-on from what remember from Daegu and Seoul Korea (though they didn't have whole-clove garlic onthe tables, which I kinda missed lol)...definitely give a 9/10 :)“

Music selection was off at times, and with all the local talent, it would be nice if live music was offered. Our server, Chachi, was incredibly attentive without being overbearing. She was smooth with the refills and courteous enough to know when to approach the table. Our light conversation and overall interaction with her added to the experience.“

“Been going to Tao's for years now. It's my favorite family owned Asian food restaurant. Kind and generous staff serving yummy and very affordable food. The owners have come out and greeted me on several occasions and have been proud to sponsor the local wrestling team's dinners on multiple occasions. We hosted our wedding reception lunch and they were helpful all along the way. Along with being very affordable. They offer all ranges of food for everyone regardless of spice tolerance, enjoyment of Asian cuisine, etc. My grandmother who grew up on strictly American food enjoyed Taos and would order it for our family dinners on every occasion.

We have only bene there for Hibachi and can honestly say is the best Hibachi restaurant in Colorado Springs. Special shoutout to Hibachi Chef "Justin," he knows how to keep his guests' attention and more; he's cooking skills are superb and never fails to make anyone smile; such a hardworking and dedicated chef. “Ordered a lunch special vegetable lo mein with egg drop soup. Service was fast and the lady who greeted me was friendly. Lo mein was yummy and i feel like it was a decent portion size for the price. However, the egg drop soup has a thick, kinda strange consistency. The taste was fine and normal for egg drop, so it may not be an issue for others, just not my favorite.“
