“Table 6 in Denver’s Alamo Placita neighborhood delivered an incredible dining experience with each dish showcasing farm‑to‑table freshness and creative flavors. From the tender broccolini and creamy carrot hummus to the perfectly seared grilled beef coulotte and rich duck confit, everything I ate was exceptional, and the chocolate beignets provided a decadent finish. The service was attentive and friendly without ever feeling rushed, making the evening both comfortable and relaxed. The atmosphere is chill and unpretentious, perfect for a laid‑back night out with friends. I’ll definitely be back soon!“

“Be aware they are now charging a “service charge”. It’s was not noted on the menu nor did the server inform us of the charge. The only reason I found out is I requested a printed receipt. The receipt recommended an additional tip be between 2-7% on top of the charge. Yet when I paid the machine prompted an additional 15 or 18% tip so I tipped 18 even tho our service was bad cuz I use to be a server. The unfortunate part is I didn’t look at the receipt for over a week after I visited. I’m very disappointed that I’m being charged a “service fee” and at no time was it ever brought to my attention that this is a new thing.“

“We had the most amazing experience at The Original. It was our birthday and my sister and I went to enjoy breakfast. We had the most genuine, kind server name Teej and he made the whole experience just absolutely amazing. The management and Teej were so sweet to us and just made us feel so so special. And then on top, the food was so tasty and flavorful. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone to go enjoy food and the wonderful service here!“

The service was wonderful and we were even able to chat with the chef. There were flavors and textures I never knew existed. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted absolutely delicious.

We both left full and happy with the selection of appetizers and sides as well as the serving sizes for two.

“I was traveling to the east coast and was in a hurry to get some food. I stopped in and had Keli for my server. She was a God send. Not only did she provide me with great service, she was hustling her butt of to help all the customers. This Woman is amazing. She needs a promotion. Her smile and attention to detail was outstanding.“

“As a Denver local, I genuinely appreciate places that make you feel welcomed and included — and Apres at Governors Park absolutely does that.

The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and they are truly dog-friendly (not just “dog tolerant”). My dog Pablo loves the attention and has basically built a social calendar here — shoutout to Cookie, Caitlin, and Lisa. It’s such a relaxed, no-fuss environment where you don’t feel like your pup is a burden.

The atmosphere is awesome — especially the outdoor seating with gas fireplaces. It’s cozy without trying too hard and perfect year-round.

Food-wise, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Personally, I love the lemon cake and the fish and chips — consistently great every time.

Also, if you go on a Tuesday, Tricia is fantastic.

“On our way home from Denver to the Springs, we stopped for a bite to eat and by chance I found this little spot. It was AMAZING. Everything we had was perfection. 🤌🏼 From the margaritas, entrees and even the dessert and not to mention our WONDERFUL waitress Georgina. Haven’t left a restaurant this satisfied in a LONG time. “Everything was good except the way that we started off the night. We were there to celebrate our anniversary, which they did bring us a complementary glass of champagne, which was very nice. As petty as it is, we had three minutes to spare for the happy hour, and by the time the waitress came to us the time had expired. We tried to order a drink at the last minute, but she wouldn't even entertain it. When you're spending $250 on a meal and the weight staff can't even help you to get a cheap drink right out the gate. It sets a bad experience. Customer service lacks when you have a two hour happy hour and you can't validate a last-minute request. It just looks poorly on such a high establishment that they're not willing to give you a small discount at the last minute. “

“Damn good sandwiches. Best on Tennyson, although I know Eloise is popular it is not as good unless you are a huge fan of Texas toast and it is more expensive . Have tried twice and will probably keep going back until we get through the whole menu. Sorry my pictures kinda suck.“

“I’m from Chicago and love gourmet dining in that city. Imagine my surprise when I entered the wine bar at Satchel’s with a group of friends to be seated for a wedding luncheon that began with the first of seven tasting courses of food that was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! Andrew, the chef/owner, is not only innovative with ingredients, but he and his staff really care about their customers’ pleasure and comfort. If I am ever able to return to the Denver area again, Satchel’s will be my first go-to destination. The luncheon was 1st class all the way.“

“The cocktails were amazing and so was the service. The burger came out somewhat raw when ordered medium. It was sent back and new one was better and comped. Fries were sweet (not a fan). Apple crumble tasted like baked oatmeal with apple and bland. Overall, go there for drinks and ambience and service but be mindful about the food.“

This is a breath of fresh air for the neighborhood. try the gumbo, the Revival burger, and DEFINITELY go listen to all the amazing musicians that grace this place. “we were in the area for a mini vacation (my sister and i). initially we were walking to the brunch nearby but as we were passing by, we changed our minds and went in. after seeing the cowboys game on, we sat down near the TV it was on. I asked if it was possible to change the TV behind my sister as well since we will be sitting across from one another. it was playing the Olympics races and nobody was watching (1 booth other than us and 4 people bar top). after it was changed, we ordered our food and drinks. a kitchen staff joked about the cowboys with friendly bantar before returning to the kitchen. shortly after, the general manager (I was unaware at the time) came from the kitchen and changed it again. I said excuse me several times to him and got 0 acknowledgement. the bartender shrugged his shoulders and looked away from me. I spoke to Anthony as there wasn't much time left on the game. Anthony attempted to talk to him and he said there were people watching the game. the game which was not put on until AFTER we requested the change. while I'm not one to sweat small stuff, I work in customer service and with 6 mins left on a preseason game, what's the harm? at least acknowledge me when I speak to you. let's come to an agreement. instead, I turned my chair around and waited to eat the appetizers sitting behind me on the table until the game was over (a whopping 4 mins) I don't get time to catch many games, was on vacation and wasn't being rude about it. i love sports and trust, I would've been stoked to catch the baseball game he changed it to AFTER the football game. and I would've been the only customer paying attention then too. so finally I was loud and thanked Anthony for his friendly demeanor and caring about his customers. I said it very loudly since I could not get acknowledgement when speaking politely and directly to him. what do ya know? now we hear me in the kitchen and have plenty to say. with music playing and food being prepared no less! I enjoyed the food. probably the best wings I've had in ages! the beer cheese soup was delicious. I enjoyed our waiter's customer care. without him, we would've walked out. food is top notch. caring about customers, not entirely priority. we don't visit often so it isn't a huge loss that we won't be returning because of one person. Definitely ask for Anthony if you do go!“

It was interesting they had us (2) sit at a community table. We were fine with it but we get to the table and there's a 2 top table right next to our table.

“Amazing service by not only the floor staff, but as well from management! Colorado Campfire, feels like the type of bar where everyone knows you name. You feel invited and welcome. Eva is a excellent mixologist. Johnny was extremely helpful when deciding what food to order and Reese handled a 10 person table with ease.

“I find it really hard in Denver Aurora area to find decent barbecue and this place is probably one of the best I've ever had. their collard greens are like old school made right properly seasoned drank that pot liquor like it was mother's milk. Mac and cheese hitting all the right notes with the cheesiness the creaminess Etc. the brisket you don't even need a knife you can pull it apart with your fingers and it's absolutely decadent juicy and not overly smoked! they make a smoked turkey that is just amazingly moist, ribs are fall off the bone decadent perfect smoke on those as well. this place is 100% #fatkidapproved they have the the old school ethic of if you wouldn't eat it youself then don't serve it. absolutely five stars fire!“

“I got a recommendation from a volunteer from the Western Stock Show. The saloon itself has been an establishment for some time in Denver and the food did not disappoint. I enjoyed the chicken breast and chili. An authentic saloon adjacent to the stockyard. Hopefully it is still open for you“

“We just used Saucy Chops for a rehearsal dinner and booked through a 3rd party which went very well! Brittany was amazing! She was right on time and her 1st concern was making sure that the sound of the trucks generator would not be too distracting to the party (which it absolutely was not). The guests loved the food and the variety of options were perfect for all ages. Loved the amount of spice! We received compliments from everyone most of whom were from out of state. We loved that it is a woman owned business and loved the concept and bright branding of the truck itself! I would highly recommend for a private party!“

“Great food, service and relaxing environment, I believe I have been coming here for three years and the baked goods are tasty. The fireplace is nice on a cold day to sit next to.
Restrooms are clean and locked so you have to get the code, but that’s good for security of the customers.
As I mentioned the staff are all nice and thankful that we come in and have a cup of coffee.
