“Our server, Medina, was amazing!!! My daughter and I ordered chicken Caesar salad and some wings to try and have a quick bite before our next flight and were in a bit of a rush, and she was ON IT! Food served fast, was fresh and delicious, and Medina topped off our drinks and got us lids for our drinks, and to-go boxes as she recognized we were getting closer to the time we needed to board. “we were in the area for a mini vacation (my sister and i). initially we were walking to the brunch nearby but as we were passing by, we changed our minds and went in. after seeing the cowboys game on, we sat down near the TV it was on. I asked if it was possible to change the TV behind my sister as well since we will be sitting across from one another. it was playing the Olympics races and nobody was watching (1 booth other than us and 4 people bar top). after it was changed, we ordered our food and drinks. a kitchen staff joked about the cowboys with friendly bantar before returning to the kitchen. shortly after, the general manager (I was unaware at the time) came from the kitchen and changed it again. I said excuse me several times to him and got 0 acknowledgement. the bartender shrugged his shoulders and looked away from me. I spoke to Anthony as there wasn't much time left on the game. Anthony attempted to talk to him and he said there were people watching the game. the game which was not put on until AFTER we requested the change. while I'm not one to sweat small stuff, I work in customer service and with 6 mins left on a preseason game, what's the harm? at least acknowledge me when I speak to you. let's come to an agreement. instead, I turned my chair around and waited to eat the appetizers sitting behind me on the table until the game was over (a whopping 4 mins) I don't get time to catch many games, was on vacation and wasn't being rude about it. i love sports and trust, I would've been stoked to catch the baseball game he changed it to AFTER the football game. and I would've been the only customer paying attention then too. so finally I was loud and thanked Anthony for his friendly demeanor and caring about his customers. I said it very loudly since I could not get acknowledgement when speaking politely and directly to him. what do ya know? now we hear me in the kitchen and have plenty to say. with music playing and food being prepared no less! I enjoyed the food. probably the best wings I've had in ages! the beer cheese soup was delicious. I enjoyed our waiter's customer care. without him, we would've walked out. food is top notch. caring about customers, not entirely priority. we don't visit often so it isn't a huge loss that we won't be returning because of one person. Definitely ask for Anthony if you do go!“

“I’m from Chicago and love gourmet dining in that city. Imagine my surprise when I entered the wine bar at Satchel’s with a group of friends to be seated for a wedding luncheon that began with the first of seven tasting courses of food that was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! Andrew, the chef/owner, is not only innovative with ingredients, but he and his staff really care about their customers’ pleasure and comfort. If I am ever able to return to the Denver area again, Satchel’s will be my first go-to destination. The luncheon was 1st class all the way.“

“Wonderful restaurant in McGregor Square in Denver. Food is fresh and delicious. My family stayed at the attached hotel for a week and ate there multiple times and tried various dishes. All of them were delicious (fried chicken sandwich, bacon egg and cheese, chorizo and potatoes, and smash burger, and chicken and biscuits, cronuts). The restaurant is bright and airy. Servers were really attentive. Prices were fair based on the generous portions. Can definitely share most dishes.“

“Be aware they are now charging a “service charge”. It’s was not noted on the menu nor did the server inform us of the charge. The only reason I found out is I requested a printed receipt. The receipt recommended an additional tip be between 2-7% on top of the charge. Yet when I paid the machine prompted an additional 15 or 18% tip so I tipped 18 even tho our service was bad cuz I use to be a server. The unfortunate part is I didn’t look at the receipt for over a week after I visited. I’m very disappointed that I’m being charged a “service fee” and at no time was it ever brought to my attention that this is a new thing.“

“It's been years since we had been to a Cracker Barrel and boy were we pleasantly surprised. From the hostess who greeted us to our server Riley to the manager who checked on us we were blown away by the 5 star service. Add to that the delicious food was awesome and cooked to perfection! There were great options, including options on the healthier side up to full on comfort good that might not be good for you but tastes so good!
Riley was great at checking on us, refilling drinks and making suggestions.

“On our way home from Denver to the Springs, we stopped for a bite to eat and by chance I found this little spot. It was AMAZING. “I find it really hard in Denver Aurora area to find decent barbecue and this place is probably one of the best I've ever had. their collard greens are like old school made right properly seasoned drank that pot liquor like it was mother's milk. Mac and cheese hitting all the right notes with the cheesiness the creaminess Etc. the brisket you don't even need a knife you can pull it apart with your fingers and it's absolutely decadent juicy and not overly smoked! they make a smoked turkey that is just amazingly moist, ribs are fall off the bone decadent perfect smoke on those as well. this place is 100% #fatkidapproved they have the the old school ethic of if you wouldn't eat it youself then don't serve it. absolutely five stars fire!“

“If you’re looking for an incredible steak lunch in downtown Denver, I highly recommend Lunchboxx. I ordered the 1 x 6 oz Grilled Prime Sirloin Steak, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The steak was perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and packed with flavor in every bite. You can tell they use quality ingredients and actually care about the food they serve.

The staff was friendly, fast, and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. The atmosphere was clean, comfortable, and perfect for a lunch break downtown. It’s hard to find a place that delivers both amazing food and excellent service consistently, but Lunchboxx absolutely nailed it.

Definitely one of the best lunch spots in Denver — I’ll 100% be coming back for that sirloin steak again.“
