“The Kitchen American Bistro was a treat for us at dinner last night. Our server, Stephan, was cordial, kind and knowledgeable. All the waitstaff said hello and were most accommodating. The atmosphere was light, clean and comfortable while being modern simultaneously. I can't begin to describe the eclectic menu. Main courses are for individuals, but the “lighter fare” is to share and is served first. Bruschetta bread and the carrot dish were the best we've ever tasted. Husband had the Black Linguine with shrimp (and all sorts of marvelous mix-ins) and the hangar steak which I enjoyed immensely, was “melt in your mouth tender”. Go enjoy a special meal at The Kitchen. I know we intended to return soon!“

“Tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday and everything was amazing, the drinks, the food, the service, we will definitely be coming back! We got a black cherry hard seltzer & Czech pilsner both on tap. We ordered the Sunday special that includes a Caesar salad, french fries and martini all for $16. We also ordered the Logan burger which is a double cheeseburger with Portobello mushroom on it.“

“we were in the area for a mini vacation (my sister and i). initially we were walking to the brunch nearby but as we were passing by, we changed our minds and went in. after seeing the cowboys game on, we sat down near the TV it was on. I asked if it was possible to change the TV behind my sister as well since we will be sitting across from one another. it was playing the Olympics races and nobody was watching (1 booth other than us and 4 people bar top). after it was changed, we ordered our food and drinks. a kitchen staff joked about the cowboys with friendly bantar before returning to the kitchen. shortly after, the general manager (I was unaware at the time) came from the kitchen and changed it again. I said excuse me several times to him and got 0 acknowledgement. the bartender shrugged his shoulders and looked away from me. I spoke to Anthony as there wasn't much time left on the game. Anthony attempted to talk to him and he said there were people watching the game. the game which was not put on until AFTER we requested the change. while I'm not one to sweat small stuff, I work in customer service and with 6 mins left on a preseason game, what's the harm? at least acknowledge me when I speak to you. let's come to an agreement. instead, I turned my chair around and waited to eat the appetizers sitting behind me on the table until the game was over (a whopping 4 mins) I don't get time to catch many games, was on vacation and wasn't being rude about it. i love sports and trust, I would've been stoked to catch the baseball game he changed it to AFTER the football game. and I would've been the only customer paying attention then too. so finally I was loud and thanked Anthony for his friendly demeanor and caring about his customers. I said it very loudly since I could not get acknowledgement when speaking politely and directly to him. what do ya know? now we hear me in the kitchen and have plenty to say. with music playing and food being prepared no less! I enjoyed the food. probably the best wings I've had in ages! the beer cheese soup was delicious. I enjoyed our waiter's customer care. without him, we would've walked out. food is top notch. caring about customers, not entirely priority. we don't visit often so it isn't a huge loss that we won't be returning because of one person. Definitely ask for Anthony if you do go!“

“This place is amazing starting from the incredible experience with Robin whom went above and beyond to Coordinate an amazing event. Meegan and Orlando were so incredibly personable! I enjoyed the atmosphere, the food was great. I got to meet the awesome serving team and head chef, everyone was kind and made sure to check on us. I watched all the staff work together to make sure our food for a party of 40 was delivered quickly. “The food was amazing. Wine list was great. Very small, intimate setting for maybe 20 guests. The chef does everything, from greeting you when you walk in, taking your order, cooking your food, delivering your food and drinks and clearing the table. Only downside is after 12 years he is closing to pursue another opportunity at a different kitchen.“

Imagine my surprise when I entered the wine bar at Satchel’s with a group of friends to be seated for a wedding luncheon that began with the first of seven tasting courses of food that was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! Andrew, the chef/owner, is not only innovative with ingredients, but he and his staff really care about their customers’ pleasure and comfort. If I am ever able to return to the Denver area again, Satchel’s will be my first go-to destination. The luncheon was 1st class all the way.“

“Be aware they are now charging a “service charge”. It’s was not noted on the menu nor did the server inform us of the charge. The only reason I found out is I requested a printed receipt. The receipt recommended an additional tip be between 2-7% on top of the charge. Yet when I paid the machine prompted an additional 15 or 18% tip so I tipped 18 even tho our service was bad cuz I use to be a server. The unfortunate part is I didn’t look at the receipt for over a week after I visited. I’m very disappointed that I’m being charged a “service fee” and at no time was it ever brought to my attention that this is a new thing.“

“very cool speakeasy environment with 'secret' entry, handled in a fun way. started the evening early here so we could get to dinner res'n elsewhere afterward. server (Kenny) was polite and attentive (perhaps a bit over-attentive, but maybe cuz it was early and not too busy yet) and had good suggestions on the wide drinks menu. we enjoyed the barrata app'r and some drinks, then off to dinner“

“Finally tried out this location after obsessing over the one in Boulder for years and while it’s clearly a different venue, the food is next level incredible. The BLT has to be the best BLT I’ve ever had in my life and I could not stay away. I returned three days later to consume another fabulous sandwich because I absolutely could not wait. No photos because I became fixated on scarfing this insane sandwich down as soon as I could. there were no morsels left on the plate.“

“My husband made us a reservation to celebrate our 1 yr anniversary. From the moment we arrived we felt special. Our server Steven was so gracious and knowledgeable about the menu and the wine list. We enjoyed his banter very much.
The food was phenomenal. I mentioned I'd love to have the recipe for the butternut squash and right before dessert the chef delivered me a typed and handwritten recipe, he also spent time explaining the whys for what was on the paper. Honestly the best dining experience ever.“

Another thing I loved: when you order fries, you can choose a single or double portion instead of being forced into getting two sides. “I believe this is a newer location. Seems like they need time to staff up a bit. Clearly understaffed and took a while for us to be seated in a fairly empty restaurant. Once seated the service was good and so was the food. Im sure things will only improve as they become more established in the new location.“
