“Hi, I was just at the bar and got 55 bill and paid 70 cash... I think the bartender misunderstood and put 60 so he might have only got 2 because I asked for 3 back.
Please make sure this is corrected? I didnt have time to ask or double check since my flight already started boarding but as I was leaving I had this icky feeling about this! 😟I think he counted wrong and put 60...because I saw on the screen 5 something.

“we were in the area for a mini vacation (my sister and i). initially we were walking to the brunch nearby but as we were passing by, we changed our minds and went in. after seeing the cowboys game on, we sat down near the TV it was on. I asked if it was possible to change the TV behind my sister as well since we will be sitting across from one another. it was playing the Olympics races and nobody was watching (1 booth other than us and 4 people bar top). after it was changed, we ordered our food and drinks. a kitchen staff joked about the cowboys with friendly bantar before returning to the kitchen. shortly after, the general manager (I was unaware at the time) came from the kitchen and changed it again. I said excuse me several times to him and got 0 acknowledgement. the bartender shrugged his shoulders and looked away from me. I spoke to Anthony as there wasn't much time left on the game. Anthony attempted to talk to him and he said there were people watching the game. the game which was not put on until AFTER we requested the change. while I'm not one to sweat small stuff, I work in customer service and with 6 mins left on a preseason game, what's the harm? at least acknowledge me when I speak to you. let's come to an agreement. instead, I turned my chair around and waited to eat the appetizers sitting behind me on the table until the game was over (a whopping 4 mins) I don't get time to catch many games, was on vacation and wasn't being rude about it. i love sports and trust, I would've been stoked to catch the baseball game he changed it to AFTER the football game. and I would've been the only customer paying attention then too. so finally I was loud and thanked Anthony for his friendly demeanor and caring about his customers. I said it very loudly since I could not get acknowledgement when speaking politely and directly to him. what do ya know? now we hear me in the kitchen and have plenty to say. with music playing and food being prepared no less! I enjoyed the food. probably the best wings I've had in ages! the beer cheese soup was delicious. I enjoyed our waiter's customer care. without him, we would've walked out. food is top notch. caring about customers, not entirely priority. we don't visit often so it isn't a huge loss that we won't be returning because of one person. Definitely ask for Anthony if you do go!“

Our day bartender was Rachael, & for some reason, the company only scheduled her to bartend on one of the biggest drinking days of the year. But! She killed it! She's one of the hardest working bartenders we've seen! She's always cheerful & kind, always remembers orders & always gives great service, even when very busy. It was a circus in there today, & she never stopped!At night, Shannon was a joy to see! Shannon is also an excellent bartender. Both women are major reasons why we've been coming to the Hound for years. Excellent day!“

“Great old neighborhood bar! Not even a hint of chain restaurants! Near Ft Logan, so it became a gathering spot for family ahead of a weekday service there.

The simple menu is well executed, and I had the Colorado Sunrise burger cooked to a perfect medium rare. Very tasty!! The whole crew of 13 enjoyed their food, and the staff gave us great service right through our surprise early rush.“

“So i haven’t eaten today and decided to DoorDash pizzas for tonight and one for tomorrow. The cheese pizza is to die for. Incredibly delicious.

I’m usually hesitant on buying pizza from non pizza places but this was an exception. The crust was good (which is rare for pizza places), wasn’t burnt in any way, and the sauce was fresh. Just an amazing pizza all around.

Excited to try other things from this place.

If you are into the metal or goth scene, maybe had dinner at Brutal a poodle, come have a drink here. Don't write it off if you're not into the scenes! It's a great choice for a bachelorette bar crawl, I imagine Halloween is going to be insane for them.
I thought it was weird to have sports playing, but the corgi competition? Heck yeah. Sports are everywhere else. I mean.. ESPN 8 though? The ocho??? That would gets a pass...

“Retro arcade games and pinball, along with some old-school skeeball. A bar and video games? Yup, checking this out. The atmosphere can get loud with drinking and a digital jukebox. Had a good time watching a group of people trying to win a giant Mario doll. Worth it just watching that!“

“This is a hidden gem in downtown Denver for sure. It looks kind of like a college bar when you walk in, but head upstairs to the rooftop and it is a whole vibe. Our waitress was super nice and our chicken wings were delicious. The music selection by the DJ was great and we wished we didn't have somewhere else to be because we didn't want to leave!“

There are a lot of burgers out there, but their Bourbon Trail burger seriously could have been the best burger I've had. Wait staff kept the beers coming without delay and were friendly. We also appreciated the kitchen being open quite late.“
