Rehearsal dinner- we picked up the food (taco bar) in Denver and transported it to Villa grove. They packaged it so well it was still steaming hot 5 hours later when we transferred it to the pans to serve from. Wedding - Justin and his team arrived on time, were so so kind, and everyone RAVED about the food and appetizers! We got the 3 meat 3 side and 3 appetizer pack. Justin is great about communication, great about allergies, and just plain great. I also loved how transparent the pricing was. No surprises about the most expensive item on many peoples wedding lists!“

“Been eating Franks BBQ since they were first located in Bay City, TX. after finding out they had a location in Denver I always get my BBQ fix there. It's a long drive from Canon City, but always order a slab of ribs to go when in Denver. Franks son now runs the business. Good people and Great BBQ !“

We also ordered the two portion Caesar salad and House salad for our table. We had the portabello mushroom appetizer as well. The garlic rolls were also amazing! We had an early reservation and the place was pretty quiet but the staff was very attentive which was great. We all went home with lots of food. I would rank the restaurant overall a 4.5 . We had a really nice evening. It is a great venue for a large table! We probably could have fed a few more people easily if that joined us. I am sure we will be back again! Thank you!“

I asked for elegant but simple food to pass around and I definitely got more than what I paid for. She grocery shopped, came to my kitchen, and somehow managed to prep everything with my limited pots and pans (😭 bless her) I had a bunch of tricky requests—food allergies, last-minute ingredient swaps and she was so flexible and accommodating through it all!

She knocked everything out in just 4 hours (super efficient!) would’ve taken me a few days lol and even cleaned up after herself when I had to step out due to car issues. I came home to a spotless kitchen and a fridge full of amazing meals.

We were promised patio heaters that never happened which severely cut our visit short, spending limited with limited tipping. Even the thought of returning will require a far more serious consideration of the weather as Chuey Fu’s had little to no respect for our group of 40 customers. Parking is limited so prepare for a hunt. For me I can’t think of any reason to return other than the service provided by the ladies who waited on us. Service - Terrific Food - Mediocre Atmosphere - Uninspiring Ambience - Shivered the entire time. Beverage - (Margaritas) used bad mix or rot gut tequila or perhaps both.“
