ChoLon - Sloan’s Lake Reviews
I am sad at the new menu changes. To take the fried (wild) rice off the menu is criminal. And I'm reminded why I never went to Gusto next door. Will miss my servers, they're all amazing!
Patio table gives a nice view of Sloan's lake. The umbrella blocked the afternoon sun. Pretty cool. With curiosity how these fusion dishes bring us. A few pleasant surprises, Crispy soft shell crab Bao Bun gives good texture and taste. Korean fried chicken sliders were delicious. Pork belly Bao Bun is tasty. Dumplings are okay.
First time here and it was SO GOOD! Justin makes great drinks and is very knowledgeable about their full menu. Highly recommend, and sit at the bar with Justin. 10/10

ChoLon - Sloan's Lake offers a unique dining experience where sharing plates is encouraged. The menu features a variety of dishes, including Mac and cheese beggar purses, General Chos, French onion soup dumplings, Malaysian noodles, and Kaya toast. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious drinks. The pork bao buns are a highlight: soft, pillowy buns filled with flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth pork. The French onion dumpling offers a savory, well-balanced flavor with a slight tang. The calamari, lightly breaded with smoky flavor, was highly praised, and the vindaloo was noted as amazing. The restaurant also offers parking options, including a nearby garage and street parking, and extends happy hour on Sundays, making it a great spot for both quality dishes and good value.
