If you like chicken cooked over charcoal, you've got to try Chook Charcoal Chicken on 8th Ave. near Colorado Blvd. Many different varieties.. View their website. Fantastic food, VERY friendly staff, plenty of seating and great value! Wonderful and affordable place for a big event, family or large party.
We came 1 hr before closing. Nice atmosphere, great staff and service, food came fast, the whole chicken was cook perfectly, moist, all side dishes were good.

Chook Charcoal Chicken offers delicious roast chicken with great sauces like gravy, BBQ, and macha. The beet and berry salad, cucumber side, and Mac n cheese side are also amazing. The family style meal for $56 comes with many options, a variety of vegetables, and everything made in-house. The chicken meal for 2 with soup, wedges and Asian salad features fresh ingredients, unique seasonings, and buttery roast chicken. Thanksgiving from Chook was outstanding, with the pecan pie being the best ever. The rotisserie chicken is okay but no better than Costco. Chook Chicken has been an incredible supporter, with generous donations.
