Everything about this place was AMAZING. Our servers name was Anthony and I don’t think I’ve ever had a server with better manners and more attentive. I got the gnocchi sweet potato dish and it was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. I can’t wait to try more stuff on the menu. I’ve been telling all my friends. Also, I got the cheese cake for dessert and it was amazing. Can’t say enough good stuff about this place.
The Cozy Cottage is a special gem on Tennyson! You arrive to an old historical house with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating (the patio is perfectly arranged and it lives up to the "cozy" in it's name!) The menu is vast and offers all of the best breakfast staples (my favorite is the veggie hash). The staff is warm and friendly (it is family-run and owned) and they will help you decide between all of their delicious options. Service was great. Food was mediocre. I got “pigs in a blanket” which was sausage wrapped in pancakes. It was dosed in powdered sugar, which wasn’t mentioned in menu, and the pancakes sort of crumbled around the sausage. Tasted doughy but were not raw. Husband got chicken fried steak which was also just ok. Coffee was good. Wanted to like this place more.
