This place is phenomenal. The cocktails were so delicious, unique, and inventive. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the ambience is really cool. If you’re in the neighborhood, this is a can’t miss. I had two distinctly different cocktails

Jonathan and team were wonderful. Beautiful ambiance, delicious food, and wonderful drinks!
Had an awesome time here for drinks with my wife. Ben was an awesome bartender and the whole crew did a great job. The space was very cool and the drinks delicious.
Their main menu drinks are great. Recommend asking your bartender about their specialities to spice it up after ordering off the main menu. Mojitos are good, but do you really need one in a basement?

Dearly Departed is a moody, cozy, and intimate speakeasy nestled in a charming basement location below another restaurant. The atmosphere is effortlessly upscale with luxurious, speak easy vibes that feel like an escape. The service is consistently described as great, friendly, and knowledgeable, with staff who are gracious, patient, and explain the menu beautifully.
The cocktails are the undisputed highlight, receiving the highest praise. They are described as dreamy, great, untouchable, and reasonably priced. The menu is creatively split into categories from standard to very experimental. Standout drinks include the cherry spritz, espresso martini, gold rush, fizz, martinis, margaritas like the spicy mango, and the unique horchata. The carnitas taco portion and tasty guacamole were also noted.
