Convenient takeout but with a pleasant dining area off the concourse walk. Fairly standard menu items, so choose a favorite. Our items were well prepared.
My counter gal was very sweet and very professional . Full of smiles. Great food and beer was very cold.
I had quesadillas, it was incredible, and the staff Samikshya was so helpful and friendly. I saw her alone working the entire store by herself with such grace and efficiency.

El Chingon is a restaurant in Terminal B near gate B12 at DEN airport, sharing a space with Aviano Coffee. The food is excellent, tasty, plentiful, and reasonably priced. It is quality food that is fast but not fast food. Specific praised items include the best green chili, a simple and delicious breakfast quesadilla, and the carnitas plate. The carnitas is phenomenal, though sometimes served with a tomatillo salsa on it and other times on the side. Other good meals are the carne asada tacos, which are street taco sized, and the torta with fresh avocados. Food is served in to-go containers.
Experiences with service vary. Many note great, friendly, and fast service from hard-working staff, contributing to a great experience. However, one interaction lacked communication and was not welcoming. The setup can be unclear, with grab-and-go items at the front, and utensils and straws not immediately obvious. The music is noted to go well with the chili. While some express uncertainty about returning due to service, others are repeat customers who highly recommend it as a favorite, especially for a non-greasy breakfast before a flight.
