“My wife and I have been here three times before and it has become our favorite restaurant in the entire Denver area. We’re going again tonight for our 32nd anniversary and we can’t wait!
The food is unfailingly amazing. The blend of modern French with North African and Middle Eastern flavors blow my mind every time because Jon’s execution is so good. We moved from the NYC area to Colorado a few years ago and agree that Bistro Barbes is the only thing we’ve found that matches the quality of our favorites in NYC (including several places with Michelin Stars).“

“We chose Restaurant Week to visit this restaurant. It was lovely. Food was fresh and excellently prepared. The staff was welcoming and our server was friendly. The restaurant is not in our neighborhood but we may go back. The food and service was certainly worthy of a return visit.“

“I have been here a few times, but most recently came to La Merise for a birthday brunch with a group of 4. We sat on the patio, which was shaded and a good vibe.
The Stroganoff Crêpe and Seafood Crêpe are in the picture - They were good, and the crêpes are a fun signature offering at La Merise and a nice mix-up from your traditional brunch selections.
La Merise is a rare find in Cherry Creek area for bottomless mimosas, although I would say the service and refills were a little less attentive than other bottomless locations throughout Denver.“

“Love the new location of this iconic restaurant. Beautiful space, more open and hip, and the food is better than ever. Had the French Onion soup, Ott Provence Rose was suggested by my server; Beautiful and a great pairing with the sweetbreads. Service was great. Excellent experience!“

“I have been looking for delicious French restaurant in Denver but could not find one until now. We had MAGRET DE CANARD and PÂTES AU FRUITS DE MER, and their tastes are excellent. Each dish has a great mix of flavors. This becomes our new favorite place for us!“

“The waitress did a great job explaining the menu. We had escargot for appetizer and it was delicious. You almost Don’t want to share that escargot that’s how good it was. We order a bottle of wine and there’s lots of different prices to choose for your budget, the Golden beet salad with goat cheese was good. Waitress suggested the white sauce pasta with scallop. The other dish was the muscles they came with french fries I didn’t think I was going to like the french fries and they were amazing. It was our anniversary and at the end they brought us two glasses with champagne and at candle, which was a really nice touch“
