Penthouse Caribbean Restaurant Cafe & Bar

This is my Friday go to spot. I especially love the Curry Goat and Escoveitch Fish.

We just came in here for the first time. My husband is a chef from the Caribbean, so my expectations are high. We have eaten at Caribbean restaurants all over, from New York to Jamaica to Miami.I ordered the Coconut Curry Chicken with potato salad and plantain. The chicken was delicious with a nice kick. Finally made it to this place for brunch during the time they said they had it and they weren't ready. I was sad. They had 1 waitress trying to hold down the entire restaurant and it sucked because the wait time was just that but really long. The food presentation was nice but my plate particularly had like a teaspoon on Mac n cheese on the side which was disappointing. We ordered bottomless mimosas but could only get one round as they ran out of Brut!?! Once again I was sad....read full review
