I’ve visited The Salty Donut in Hyde Park in Tampa many times in the past 2+ years, and overall my experience has been mixed, which is why I’m giving it 3 stars.
To start, I personally find it quite overpriced for what it is. While the donuts are popular and my kids do enjoy them, I’m not completely convinced they’re worth the price point for essentially refined sugar and white flour pastries.

I will like to complement the amazing customer service that Stephanie and Samantha give me.I been a manager for more than 20 years and this girls where great.Im very happy with my perchase everything was fresh and the quality of the product was amazing. Thanks Samantha and Stephanie you girls are making me go back for more and definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.
Yall missed the mark with the tampa location at: 5808 N Florida Ave, Tampa, FL 33604
This spot has so much potential with that historic house, but right now it falls short. There’s very limited parking, no indoor seating, and the focus is mostly on doughnuts. While they do serve espresso, it’s not really a place to hang out or enjoy a coffee.
That’s a missed opportunity.

Their doughnuts are light, not too sweet, and come in a variety of flavors to choose from. Try their popular pastries like the ham & cheese croissant, pistachio donut, pumpkin pie donut, and everything & cheese cragel. The staff is delightful, and the donuts are huge and shareable. Be prepared for a short wait on busy mornings, but it's well worth it. This is one of the favorite places to visit, a super lovely spot, and the pastries, coffee and service are all great. The service was amazing and the staff is super friendly and fun to talk to.
