“Revising my previous low-star review: Based on a recent weekday visit, they seem to have adequate staffing now, were actually open during the hours posted, and the cashier, Katherine, and the other woman who helped me were prompt and polite, and the food was good.“

“I just absolutely love their food. When you get food here they hook it up...no small portions of nothing here...their not expensive and their friendly. You can tell they take pride in the food they make...their California Burrito is not all potatoes like a lot places do...I ate here yesterday and as always they don't disappoint ... You got to get out here and try this food it's amazing.....you'll be happy you did...great job guys....“

“We enjoyed Clear Creek Cidery! Our waiter was very nice! Not sure of his name, but he greeted us when we walked in. He seated us and asked us how we were. He made sure we had everything we needed and even made sure my daughter was happy! He checked on us several times and made sure we were satisfied! The lady that was helping clean tables was very sweet as well! She was refilling drinks and even brought my daughter paper and crayons to draw with. Their on tap cider was very good! I tried the hard apple! My daughter’s chicken strip kids meal was very fresh! My husband loved the salmon appetizer! Everything is made fresh and homemade and you can really tell they value their business and customers! We loved this place and plan to go back when we visit Idaho Springs again!!“

“Large group, passing through. We just needed a place to eat. In town that seemed to close at dusk we stumbled onto Mothers Saloon. Typically, I would’ve never even thought to try this place. I am so glad that circumstances lead us here. Called ahead, friendly and informative Dan answered the phone. He probably regretted it, if he did it didn’t show it one bit. Margaret SLAYED the night maintaining her customers while making us feel welcome and appreciated. Food was SPECTACULAR and extremely superior to what was expected. I also want to note that I didn’t visit the bathroom, but my daughter was throughly impressed by how clean it was “no, seriously you’ll have to go check it out. It’s impressive how clean it is.” If I’m ever in this area again, passing by or whatever I will without a doubt stop in.“

“What an amazing experience at Monarch Casino in Blackhawk, CO! The hotel itself is beautiful, and the rooftop pool is absolutely stunning—definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The staff went above and beyond, and I have to give a special shoutout to Simon for his exceptional service. An added bonus was the outdoor firepits and hot tub, which offered incredible views of the mountains—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The beds were incredibly comfy, and the blackout curtains made for the best night’s sleep of our whole trip. It was so nice to be able to sleep in and enjoy a later checkout time of noon. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!“
