Don't miss Dillon's top Mexican restaurants, as recommended by Restaurantji.
“The place is small but its variety is incredible!! My family of 13 ordered a little bit of everything and nothing disappointed us! We tried a little bit of everything, elotes, chorreados corn, champurrado, palettes, snows, chocobanana, nachos, prepared tostitos, etc. I totally recommend it and the prices for Colorado are “
“Wow. Have had a condo in Dillon for years and this is our first time trying this joint. We will be back. The food was authentic and incredible. Our group of five skiers devoured queso fundido, chile rellenos, and tacos of all sorts. Everything was absolute quality. Prices were super fair as well, especially for Summit County.“
“By far the best tacos in Summit County! I've lived here almost 20 years and tried them all, these get my vote as the best! The asada and carnitas are always perfection, their in-house salsas are great, and the margs are made strong! I like that they have beer from Jalisco as well, that you can't buy anywhere else. I highly recommend this place, love coming here, food comes out quick, staff is nice, food is great, what more can you want!“
“This Mexican restaurant was a fun surprise while staying in Dillon for a ski weekend. While the other restaurants had a 30-45 min wait, they were able to seat us at the bar right away. The meal comes with complimentary chips and salsa that were great. We also ordered the Horchata, steak tacos, Flan, and deep fried ice cream for which continued our trend of tasty food. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our larger group. Definitely recommend!“
“This restaurant is FANTASTIC. Must order the seafood dishes. Ceviche, aguachile, mazatlan tostada, fried fish - all incredible. Honestly if I were served these dishes at high end restaurants I would be more than happy. Plus their margaritas are delicious. Will definitely be back next time we are in town.“
“This place is fire for a post ski meal. They pack all their burritos and quesadillas (all we got) with meat and cheese. For the price you pay (inexpensive) you get a great serving of great Mexican food. Would go again. Would highly recommend the Barbacoa.“
“New owners and a fabulous menu! Libby and her partner spent 2 months remodeling the interior and the changes are wonderful. The food is some of the best Mexican we've had, including from food trucks which actually is a huge compliment. My husband and I both had the quesabirria tacos and they were simply fabulous. We can't wait to return to try the rest of the menu. The bartender was focused and friendly and my margarita was top-notch. Even the expo who delivered the plates from the kitchen had a pride that you could see. It won't be long before everyone else finds out about this tiny restaurant off the beaten path in Breckenridge. Be sure to go while you can still get a table!“
“Cute little restaurant! I really enjoyed the food here. I got the smothered burrito with green sauce and steak and it was absolutely delicious. I didn’t finish the burrito since it was so large, and I was pleasantly surprised when the leftover burrito microwaved was just as tasty. I would definitely recommend coming here for a meal if you’re in the area. Extremely reasonable prices for the area, too. Parking was also simple and easy.“
“Fast service, great salsa, generous with the chips. The guacamole was very good. Easily made some of the vegan veggie burritos and they were huge and delicious. The chairs in the restaurant are all painted with scenery on them. The restaurant in general is decorated reeeaallllyyyy well. Beautiful place to have a great Mexican meal.“
“Very good place. I ordered a burrito. The waiter said the portion was average size. But the portion was surprisingly very large and tasty. Against this backdrop, the interior of the establishment is impressive: against the backdrop of the Mexican interior, Mexican music often sounds, making the meal a delightful experience. In short, I liked it! I recommend!“
“I did have the time to stop and have a meal however I got my food to go. The customer service was awesome and the wait wasn't long around 15mins. The food slaps and the wings was great. I ordered enchiladas and wings.Kid-friendliness: There were a lot of families dining with children.“
“Mountain Lion Cafe is a hidden gem. We had the Breakfast Burrito and it was out of this world. So flavorful and all the ingredients were fresh, like homemade. Definitely recommend eating here. They have a large selection of breakfast and lunch. You won’t be “
“The customer service provided here is topnotch!! The gentleman explained throughly what the options were, and the meals were ready quickly.... and wow... absolutely scrumptious!!! Come visit when you're in Silverthorne! (Ordered the Steak burrito and baja fish burrito)“
“Good stalwart Mexican food. Service was super fast and extremely friendly. House margarita was a bit sweet, but a few fresh lime slices remedied that. The enchiladas were good as well. I'd go back and I would also recommend Casa Sanchez as long as your expectations are in check.“
“If you are craving authentic Mexican food, this is the place for you. One of my favorite foods is Chicken Mole and their sauce was delicious. Their fried ice cream hit the spot and we were pleasantly surprised by the strawberry ice cream inside instead of the traditional vanilla. It was also served with yummy warm fresh mini-sopapillas. We highly recommend this restaurant as one of your stops in Silverthorne, CO.“
“So I'm scratching my head on the 3.8 stars... my experience here was excellent! This was my second visit in two days.. the first day was for happy hour which we ordered two margaritas and chips with guacamole. $15 total! And both were excellent! I was so impressed that I went back the next day for happy hour and dinner..... everything again was excellent! This will now become a regular stop for me!“
“I want one back up here in the mountains where I live only without the added money you charge.Update: November. 6, 2021Went through drive thru to get a dozen tacos to take home. The cashier was polite and friendly. The food was well, Taco Bell, but they got the order right, half without lettuce, which is iffy these days at any fast food place.Dietary restrictions: Will customize orders to some degree. Other it's a Mexican restaurant so low sodium options are very limitedParking: Just before the I-70 West on ramp in a strip mall. Be sure to take the street exit on the north side otherwise you have to cross several lanes to get into the correct lane for I-70Kid-friendliness: What kid doesn't like Taco Bell lolWheelchair accessibility: Limited“
“Tacos were awesome, chile relleno was great.. service was awesome.. only reason I didn’t 5 star it was because the burrito bowl option wasn’t on the menu, and the lady behind me got one and it looked phenomenal.. next time I come it will definitely be my “
