Avon's best places for Mexican cuisine are in our list.
“Nah, this is honestly some of the best Mexican food in Colorado. Just so good. I’m from Los Angeles and this place is casually amongst the best, we’ve already come two days in a row on our Beaver Creek trip - you can very easily walk here from the Westin gondola.“
“My husband and I participated in a Valentine's Day contest and we won, I couldn't believe it. When we arrived they were very kind and attentive to us, they treated us like royalty, well at least that's how I felt. The food is delicious and the portion they serve is quite large. I would definitely return.“
“My favorite restaurant in the valley for Mexican food!Dishes that include seafood get pricey, but that's expected this far inland.Food is always delicious, and the service is always fast and friendly. Even in the busiest times you don't have to wait long for your food.I recommend the Carne Asada plate. Perfectly seasoned, tender and juicy.“
“We always enjoy eating at Agave when we are out here. Ordered 2 desserts for our table- the apple empanada was delicious but the chocolate tort was served frozen solid and was inedible. A first for us and hopefully the last. We will be back again though.“
“How they had seating available on Super Bowl Sunday without reservations I don't know but, I am so glad they did. The kids menu was great and affordable. My wife and I almost had too many options to choose from. We sampled appetizers, she had a huge salad, and I blew my diet with the French dip. Wow!Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere and menu were kid friendly, even on Super Bowl Sunday. They loved it.“
“Definitely a must dine at Beaver Creek. This is some of the best Mexican I have had. The fajitas had everything you could want, and it was cooked really well. The chips and salsa were also really good. I would definitely recommend this place.“
“The absolute best place to eat in the valley. All of their tacos and burritos are delicious (and I have tried them all), but their carnitas are the absolute best. Don't skip their homemade salsas. The staff is always really nice and upfront about wait times. Do not understand the negative reviews but I guess some people don't know what's good.“
“RMT is the place to go for outstanding food, service and atmosphere ? everything on the menu is delicious! Chips n Salsa like no other! I don't know what's better their tacos/burritos or their burgers! Always a tough choice. The owner is most always there and a real stand up guy. We're lucky to have them!“
“Amazing and authentic taco truck in Edwards. We regularly stop by on busy evenings for dinner when we don’t feel like cooking. Prices are reasonable, the staff is always friendly, there is abundant fixings’ and it is pretty fast. We love the quesabirria and carnitas.“
“My wife said this is the best Mexican food she's ever had and I agree. I used to live in Houston and I've eaten a lot of Mexican food over time. This restaurant offers authentic Mexican food. Everything was great, including service. Thank you. Hidden gem if you're staying in Vail. It's only a few minutes away.“
“Yum! We stopped in here after hiking Meadow Mountain, very authentic Mexican food. The guacamole is fresh and delicious, kids loved the chicken quesadillas, yummy burrito and the owner was so nice to our children, giving them a small dessert at the end. Great affordable, quick stop for fresh, delicious Mexican food.“
“We used to go a lot to the “old” Saloon and that was the first time we tried it's new and refreshed version - we were pleasantly surprised - a nice remodeling of the interior while keeping the old pictures that made the history of this place, great, improved food , albeit with a more streamlined menu , and great service from our waiter Jason - we will come back“
“The Market at Pepitos is small, but don't be fooled. Everything in there is beautiful! From the meats & cheeses, to the produce, especially the plantains, avacados, and array of various peppers ?❤ the employees there are so helpful and friendly, and the restaurant next door makes delicious quesadillas while you shop at the Market! So thick and ready in 10 minutes! This place is definitely Eagle County's best kept secret, tucked away behind the buildings on Hwy. 6. Don't blink or you'll miss it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“Great food! We enjoyed the southwest chicken salad, 2 tacos, and cheeseburgers with waffle fries. This place is kid friendly. We sat at the bar high tops and overlooked the slopes. It wasn't too busy and our server was outstanding. He gave us lots of good advice about the slopes. It was relaxing and chill. Took our 2 teens. Happy hour beers and tacos were discounted.“
“This place is a staple of the valley and been hete for 34 years now and is offering a free fried ice cream with strawberries on top in celebratio. They handled our group of 20 people very wel. Andy did a great job and accurate orders and friendly service. Price point is good for the area. Tradition new mexican cusine and bar menu. The ambiance and atmosphere are great representation of folk art that gives great vibes while regional norteno mexican music echoes in the background. 2 tvs at the baf in case you want to keep up with the playoffs and enjoy there signature Margarita. Good times enjoyed here tonight and thank to all the staff for a great evening.“
“Place is on point and a must stop after riding Bever Creek. Good is always hot and fresh plus the home made salsas, they have every spice level! Service is always friendly and genuine and I love sitting at the tables they have set out side after a day of riding and looking up at the mountain whether it’s snow or shine! Thanks RMT!“
