Navigate Breckenridge's Mexican food scene with Restaurantji's recommendations.
“Ahh this is a proper Mexican joint. With Mexican being my deathbed food of choice, Oaxaca Bites probably wouldn’t be the choice for my deathbed, but they are superb! It warms my heart that you can get some delicious greasy Mexican in the heart of an annoyingly uppity area. Oaxacan Bites is truly a gem!!“
“The frozen margarita was good. The queso was good, I can’t remember what I had for main course, but it was good. the portions were generous, and the service was good and friendly. I’ll go there again if I want Mexican food next time I’m in Breckenridge.“
“My family and I love this cute little tex mex restaurant with some Oaxacan dishes on the menu. It has been a stand-by for us for many years. It has classic Tex mex combos, delicious fajitas, and attentive staff. It’s usually a great spot to pop in when the rest of downtown Breck restaurants are over-crowded with long waits. And the margaritas hit the spot!“
“Cute little restaurant! I really enjoyed the food here. I got the smothered burrito with green sauce and steak and it was absolutely delicious. I didn’t finish the burrito since it was so large, and I was pleasantly surprised when the leftover burrito microwaved was just as tasty. I would definitely recommend coming here for a meal if you’re in the area. Extremely reasonable prices for the area, too. Parking was also simple and easy.“
“Fast service, great salsa, generous with the chips. The guacamole was very good. Easily made some of the vegan veggie burritos and they were huge and delicious. The chairs in the restaurant are all painted with scenery on them. The restaurant in general is decorated reeeaallllyyyy well. Beautiful place to have a great Mexican meal.“
“Very good place. I ordered a burrito. The waiter said the portion was average size. But the portion was surprisingly very large and tasty. Against this backdrop, the interior of the establishment is impressive: against the backdrop of the Mexican interior, Mexican music often sounds, making the meal a delightful experience. In short, I liked it! I recommend!“
“I did have the time to stop and have a meal however I got my food to go. The customer service was awesome and the wait wasn't long around 15mins. The food slaps and the wings was great. I ordered enchiladas and wings.Kid-friendliness: There were a lot of families dining with children.“
“Good stalwart Mexican food. Service was super fast and extremely friendly. House margarita was a bit sweet, but a few fresh lime slices remedied that. The enchiladas were good as well. I'd go back and I would also recommend Casa Sanchez as long as your expectations are in check.“
“So I'm scratching my head on the 3.8 stars... my experience here was excellent! This was my second visit in two days.. the first day was for happy hour which we ordered two margaritas and chips with guacamole. $15 total! And both were excellent! I was so impressed that I went back the next day for happy hour and dinner..... everything again was excellent! This will now become a regular stop for me!“
“New owners and a fabulous menu! Libby and her partner spent 2 months remodeling the interior and the changes are wonderful. The food is some of the best Mexican we've had, including from food trucks which actually is a huge compliment. My husband and I both had the quesabirria tacos and they were simply fabulous. We can't wait to return to try the rest of the menu. The bartender was focused and friendly and my margarita was top-notch. Even the expo who delivered the plates from the kitchen had a pride that you could see. It won't be long before everyone else finds out about this tiny restaurant off the beaten path in Breckenridge. Be sure to go while you can still get a table!“
