“Yum! We stopped in here after hiking Meadow Mountain, very authentic Mexican food. The guacamole is fresh and delicious, kids loved the chicken quesadillas, yummy burrito and the owner was so nice to our children, giving them a small dessert at the end. Great affordable, quick stop for fresh, delicious Mexican food.“
“My wife said this is the best Mexican food she's ever had and I agree. I used to live in Houston and I've eaten a lot of Mexican food over time. This restaurant offers authentic Mexican food. Everything was great, including service. Thank you. Hidden gem if you're staying in Vail. It's only a few minutes away.“
“We used to go a lot to the “old” Saloon and that was the first time we tried it's new and refreshed version - we were pleasantly surprised - a nice remodeling of the interior while keeping the old pictures that made the history of this place, great, improved food , albeit with a more streamlined menu , and great service from our waiter Jason - we will come back“
“Place is on point and a must stop after riding Bever Creek. Good is always hot and fresh plus the home made salsas, they have every spice level! Service is always friendly and genuine and I love sitting at the tables they have set out side after a day of riding and looking up at the mountain whether it’s snow or shine! Thanks RMT!“
“I live all the way in Omaha, about 9 hours from the closest Rocky Mountain taco, my fiancé and I tried it while driving through last summer, we made a trip this weekend, specifically to get Rocky Mountain taco, that’s how amazing their food is. We have had both the taco truck and had great service and food and we have ate at the restaurant in Minturn, both times they were extremely busy but very friendly and food was quick and soooo delicious. I definitely recommend to anyone and everyone!!“
“Food here is absolutely delicious. I had the octopus in butter garlic sauce (Pulpo Al Gusto) and went back a few days later. My son had the tacos (the toppings came on the side) and he wanted to go back as well. The menu is massive. So many options including whole grilled fish.Best part is most of the customers and the staff are Hispanic. That is a good sign! The staff are also super friendly. The downside is they don’t take reservations.5 stars. Highly recommend!“
“Nah, this is honestly some of the best Mexican food in Colorado. Just so good. I’m from Los Angeles and this place is casually amongst the best, we’ve already come two days in a row on our Beaver Creek trip - you can very easily walk here from the Westin gondola.“
“One of our more reasonably priced meals in Vail. Solid choice for grabbing some tacos and margaritas - we tried 4 different tacos all were large and delicious (the Hot Korean was our favorite). Be aware of the hot sign on the menu, some of those tacos are extra spicy!“
“We always enjoy eating at Agave when we are out here. Ordered 2 desserts for our table- the apple empanada was delicious but the chocolate tort was served frozen solid and was inedible. A first for us and hopefully the last. We will be back again though.“
“My favorite restaurant in the valley for Mexican food!Dishes that include seafood get pricey, but that's expected this far inland.Food is always delicious, and the service is always fast and friendly. Even in the busiest times you don't have to wait long for your food.I recommend the Carne Asada plate. Perfectly seasoned, tender and juicy.“
“Great food! We enjoyed the southwest chicken salad, 2 tacos, and cheeseburgers with waffle fries. This place is kid friendly. We sat at the bar high tops and overlooked the slopes. It wasn't too busy and our server was outstanding. He gave us lots of good advice about the slopes. It was relaxing and chill. Took our 2 teens. Happy hour beers and tacos were discounted.“
“The food was really good but the service was really bad. They somehow missed my dinner order even though I was the first in our party to order and then said they miss read it and put cold food on a very hot plate. They’re just lucky it tasted good, just not hot. Don’t expect the waitstaff to know what is on happy hour because what we ordered ended up not being and had to pay full price.“
“We really love this place if you're willing to accept a noisy bar atmosphere and great Mexican food. The service is great; the food is great; and well priced. We go there every time we're in Vail. But if you're wanting a quiet environment, this is not the place.“
“Whoops I did it again....LOVE the boot for everything it is (and isn't)!!! Food (fantastic) drinks (daily mystery shot, lots of beers on draft) service (spectacular) and crowd (a bit of everything, but always friendly and in a great mood). We stopped in for a late lunch on a Wed (around 4 pm) before the rush after the lifts closed. Wonderful service, LOVED the pretzel bites, the French dip (wonderful, great crunchy bread & excellent dipping) & tater tots (so many I couldn't finish) & my son loved the burger. Wonderful for lunch, drinks after skiing or dinner!! Winner“
“One of the best places to get a bite in Vail. The food is excellent and made to order. The staff are helpful and friendly, even when they are very busy (especially on Saturday & Sunday in ski season).I recommend starting with their guacamole, then any of their burritos (especially the wet ones) are a great choice. Also, there are plenty of options for vegetarians.“
