Great hire on him very well mannered ( yes ma'am and yes sir) I know personally good employees are hard to find and he's a good one!! The food was outstanding!! Highly recommend this place. We even visited the store and purchased apples, plums & peaches ❤️“

“We drove pass Durango and found this place, the steak is really good, I guess Colorado mountains area is just expensive since they have a lot of tourism all years round, we didn’t have reservation but was seated quickly. The waitress even brought my dog some water. Great experience!“

“We split the El Moro Burger and fries and we asked for the burger to be cooked medium. The burger was a little undercooked. The burger was seasoned nicely. The fries were done well ahead of the burger and they were barely lukewarm. We received excellent service from the two young gals working the tables in the bar area. We walked 4 blocks from our hotel to the restaurant. I didn’t see their own parking lot.
Note:
1. They automatically add a 20% tip to the bill. We almost always tip 20% for descent service. The servers missed out on a higher tip because I was taken back by their policy.
2. I ordered a Sprite and got a refill. I was not told there is no free refills and I did not see this on the menu. I was charge $8 for two Sprites. This added to me not leaving a larger tip. The servers lose out because of questionable policies.
3. I evaluated the food, service and atmosphere on their own merits and these issues did not impact the rating I gave.“

“What an awesome spot to stop and eat! We were visiting for Labor Day weekend and happened to pass by while exploring downtown with our dogs. We decided to grab dinner here and were so glad we did. The food was excellent, we loved the chowder and Sockeye BLT. A bit random but the Ranch was exceptional, like really truly good. Our server Lanie (I hope I spelled that right! Call me out if I didn’t) was great as well, very friendly and attentive. We will 100% be coming here on our next visit!“

“My sweetie and I came in and had the stellar ribeye, which was seasoned with dried herbs and an obscene amount of black pepper and perfectly charred, medium rare. We had a Caesar which was ok (I got the delicious salty brined Sicilian anchovy). The lettuce could have been a lot greener and fresher. It seemed kind of old… like a salad from a bag?? Also had grilled bread with olive oil. And tiramisu, which may be one of the best I’ve ever had :) Tony our server was very helpful and knowledgeable and a delight. Thanks bud! We went on a Monday so it wasn’t crazy. We also were laughing and admiring how much Herbie Hancock was on the soundtrack. Overall wonderful experience.“
