Digs is a bit off the beaten path and that's a good thing for patrons. If it were downtown you wouldn't be able to get a table. Its contemporary fine dining without the pretense of the downtown area. The service was outstanding and the food was sublime, mindfully prepared and presented. This is definitely a hidden gem of the Durango area. Decent food. The fish & chips are great and the southwest salad is pretty solid. The menu is DESPERATELY lacking vegetarian options. Desperately! Outdated glass wear is a personal turn off. I'll be ordering a beer rather than a cocktail next time. The inconsistency of the hours is really disappointing. Friends that live in the neighborhood don't get home from work til 8, and often, Digs wraps up early. Has a nice atmosphere to dine in. Being local, I appreciated the change in management and staff. Still their downfall is pricing for the food. It's not bad food, but it's not the best. I like coming here because their burgers are my favorite- but nothing else is as satisfying as I'd like it to be. I'd expect to pay less for mediocre food.
